No but we are taking notice that they don't bother to turn up in Liverpool but fancy a jolly in Rome every other month.Do we all hate the Friedkin Group now ?

I think fans are right at the bottom of the customer hierarchy, well below broadcasters and sponsors. From a business point of view you need to at least pretend and make an effort with your customers in a customer based entertainment industry .
Not only does it reassure them that you are their long-term and you will give them a voice , it also allows your customers to know you . A bit like the owner of a restaurant being front of house every now and then, just feels more professional.
Love and romance has no place here but professionalism certainly does. So far ive only really got doubts .
The final game at one of the oldest stadiums in the country at a club they own who are also one of the founders. You need to be there .
But no roma had a cup game .
16 degrees in Rome today, 6 degrees here, wouldn't you ?No but we are taking notice that they don't bother to turn up in Liverpool but fancy a jolly in Rome every other month.

I think it does.Does this matter?
Don't blame them were crapNo but we are taking notice that they don't bother to turn up in Liverpool but fancy a jolly in Rome every other month.
It was hotter than Greece for the end of Goodison or opening of BMD at some point surely.16 degrees in Rome today, 6 degrees here, wouldn't you ?![]()
I think it does.
It would be nice of them to show face.
They've done well putting some money into us but if they bothered to turn up I would start thinking that they want to actually make us a success and not just turn a profit.
They can definitely have both, but the longer they go without turning up for a match the more I feel they see us as an item on a balance sheet.
If he did come he'd probably fly in, spend a couple of hours in a box, unseen by anybody, then bugger off.It was hotter than Greece for the end of Goodison or opening of BMD at some point surely.
I think they should have turned up to one or the other to show a bit of presence as the new owners and stewards of the club.
I think it does a little bit. I think its pretty weird they didn't attend for either last game at GP or opening of the new stadium. Perceptions are still important.Does this matter?

Except we are much much better than when they bought us.Don't blame them were crap
Fans that keep attending no matter what will always be last priority, why change anything?I think fans are right at the bottom of the customer hierarchy, well below broadcasters and sponsors.
I don’t disagree that what you’ve said is how it SHOULD be, but I just don’t think it is or ever again will be that way. Look at the Glazers, pretty universally hated by fans since day 1 but continually called their bluff in terms of sticking around, saddling the club with more debt and seeing no discernible drop in fan attendance/engagement whatsoever. We’re a captive audience and they know it.
