Absolutely superb. If they wanted to fit everything in, why on earth couldn't they have incorporated the 1878 in to the tower like you have, instead if cramming everything in to the shield separately making it look a cluttered mess?

This gets even more frustrating by the day fans can come up with so so many decent, good and downright excellent designs and yet a professional company was paid good money to come up with absolute ****e!!

Interesting thing is that it's only slightly smaller than placing it below, so it would be fine.

If they wanted to really revolutionise the badge, they could have put a pair of bear arms to show aggression and power, a clown hat to show our reputation as a family club that caters for kids, a pair of eyes to show the vision the club has moving forward and we could have changed our name to reflect start anew.

Not impressed with any of these new options. Seems like the cub have already decided on crest A as the winner. If crest A does win, then what was the point in changing it? If the Everton and 1878 do need to be inside the crest rather than floating on the outside then why not do it properly by keeping the key parts of the old badge the same? Here is my version anyway.

The tower, that's what's wrong with these designs. It's a poor representation.

This took me 2 minutes, with a tower someone else created:


All three look better to me with a decent tower like that.

I'm no graphic designer but if you thicken the lines on the tower like that, the wreaths need to match.

My own personal opinion is we didn't need all the text. I like the way Tottenham have their Motto on the back of the shirts at the neck. Don't think we needed NSNO, 1878 any where near the badge. I understand that lots of people feel differently however.. A simple icon to represent our club like the tower, and Everton FC or somthing similar would have done for the "badge" the motto etc could be housed elsewhere on the shirt if at all. Its not like we're giving it up just because it isn't on the badge.

stopped for 5 seconds to think about option 1 last night. If they feel the need for everything to be inside the badge. wouldn't it look better to push the tower and laurel wreaths lower down, put the everton above it and 18 and 78 each side of the tower?

why have they started writing things at the bottom of it?
