Looks fine to me.

It looks friggin anaemic!!

Tweaked the last crest in Photoshop and came up with this. This would look perfect on the shirt, no? against a white background just invert the colours.

The club are complicating this tbh. They seem hell bent on putting the word "Everton" in there and they, unfortunately, aren't going to budge from that. We're one of the oldest clubs in the world with one of the most original traditional designs ffs, beyond a very simple "EFC" the full word isn't required surely?!

Yes. It looks like a sunday league badge.

Does it have the features I want? Yes, emphatically yes, don't get me wrong. But absolutely no effort has gone into designing it.

Are we really going to accept #1 just because it's the best of a bad bunch? I tend to think what our crest looks like is quite important, so we shouldn't settle for second (or in this case third) best.

We're not well known outside of the UK.

Juventus, Chelsea, United, Arsenal all have their names on their badges. If all of those comparably massive commercial entities feel the need for it there must be a reason from a marketing perspective.
