If we were to cease trading today it wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference to sky.

We're trying to be something we're not.

It's absolute nonsense.

That's true. And entirely beside the point. They would buy product elsewhere, probably because we weren't organised enough to supply it.

We're trying to be something we're not.

Well thats true, a proper business. It is however something we have to be.

It's absolute nonsense.

No, absolute nonsense is the myth of a Working Mans Soccer Club at the top end of the league. They don't exist, they can't exist, and they haven't existed in maybe 30 years. Gate receipts and shirt sales alone will not sustain a club anywhere above about tier 4 (whatever that's called these days).

3 really nice designs there.

I do think the top one is better when kept simple without the 'N.S.N.O' and the date.

Spurs and the sh1te have gone for the minimilist approach and I must begrudgingly admit it looks classy.

If it was good enough in the 80's......
Last one would be my choice so far :)

My picks so far in no particular order.

Its the middle ones that I prefer over all the others, but feel that it should be just for shirts. I dont see anythig wrong with having a 'shirt design' and a seperate design for letterheads etc.

On another note, for all the designs tat people are puttnig out, I feel that we should stick to standard Laurel Wreaths, and stick with the 9 leaf sets (top one only has 7), to represent the 9 league titles. Wreaths are to symbolise victory afterall.

Yeah, the circular Jester badge is the best new design by a mile, the bottom 1 I mean...

I love the tower on it too. Its kinda like a modern version of the 30s badge with the fence around the bottom.

On the questionnaire I was torn between 30s tower and 91-13. I ended up voting for the 90s 1, just because it was the cleaner image, but I probably like this new 1 most of all.

Quite like this one ... has someone sent it in?

I am fairly sure they want "Everton" on it and they won't be dissuaded from that.

Yeah, you can tell what the club want by the last 2 designs we've had, and I can see why they would want them too.

I've always been of the opinion that our badge is 1 of the more easily recognisable and iconic badges, and that without the need for the name to be shown. But that is obviously not who we are aiming for with the rebrand. The rebrand is to make us instantly recognisable to people who are getting in on the ground level.

Me and my brother where in Florida last year, and asking if the Everton game was being televised anywhere, it was like we where speaking a different language... "Averdon?" "Airviten?". I do think a cleaner, more focused badge with our identity for all to see will help that.

And the year is a big thing as well. Heritage in these situations is massive, especially when people see we where here 1st. It lends weight to how big we where and could be again, instant history lessons to those uninitiated.

That Jester badge highlights just about everything in a smart, clean, and most importantly, simple and easy to read badge, keeps all the elements we want, and without looking busy or cluttered.

Excellent work

It's not the 1930s. We've got to move with the times or slip into irrelevance.

That's the choice. Deal with it.

We're already irrelevant.

Rebranding a badge won't make a blind bit of difference. We'll still have owners who won't put a penny into the club and a ground full of obstructed views.

So your view is that we are already irrelevant so best not try and modernise and push forward? May as well slink away into further irrelevance?

This idea of the football fan having to be constantly angry nowadays because they 'reckon' stuff is infuriating. There are plenty of things that are wrong with the modern game and there are plenty of things which can be given righteous anger - your anger that the club are consulting with the fans but not quite in the way you want it is bizarre and wildly misplaced.
