I wonder if any other fans of any other club would give so much abuse to a player who has given them 11 years of loyal service.

Meanwhile, some little cockney RATfink has people falling over themselves whilst he sulks and begs for a move.

Is he a spineless coward though? Yes he is. That miralass pen incident where he bent down to tie his lace instead of give the ball to Baines, he should have been stripped that night.

He has never been a 'spineless coward' . He never fails to show for the ball , never ducks out of a challenge, has always given everything he can for the club on and of the pitch. He still is probably our best CB , admittedly the competition is non existent.
In short , he has done more than enough to earn our respect, and not to be on the receiving end of contemptable and gratuitous abuse from our own supporters.
 
Before we argue on who's captain we need a defence pairing at the back with pace and domination in the air- a midfield that is quilk and can open a defence , and two strikers .......
