2025/26 Nathan Patterson

He's "delighted" with his form.

Tells you everything that.

He sounds deluded, tbh. He thinks he's handed his international manager / club manager a decision to make to bring him to the world cup / play him as a starter for Everton.

Ffs, THAT is off the charts crazy. Two games: one against Japan where he stunk the place out and got mauled by Willie Miller; the other a forgettable half hour performance against a reserve Ivory Coast team.

He's the Ali Bongo of professional football.
😂 Only in your deluded mind does he come across like that in the interview!

From his own personal perspective, he'd be best off leaving on a free in 2027. From Everton's perspective, we need to find someone stupid enough to pay money for him this summer.

Because I used to live up there and Ilm half scotch.

I'm going to ask the question.

Obviously there's two top sides up in Scotland and typically Scotsmen lean to one side or the other.

So, is it Rangers or Hearts Dave?

By the way Patterson had only been usurped for the Everton RB slot this season by Garner.

But thats blatently obvious, so no doubt you've got an opposing view.

Anyone using a stats driven approach would be interested him over OBrien & Coleman I suspect.

Seek serious help.

I did. I thought he was wasteful in possession but did alright-ish defensively. Much like he's been for us when given opportunities this season.
Thanks for the analysis. I suppose part of the wastefulness is being rusty from a match day perspective. I think it's fairly obvious he'll leave in the summer anyway as Moyes clearly isn't a fan so I hope he finds a club that will have faith in him as I think he has enough for a decent career

The problem is that not many managers, not just Moyes, have fancied him

Lampard did until Patterson got injured. I wouldn't worry about what Dyches judgement is on him. Moyes obviously likes a certain kind of full back as we know. I think a coach who plays a wing back system might be the sort of coach who'll like Patterson but probably at a championship level or abroad somewhere

He's a defender who can't defend unfortunately
