Should have started. He put in some good crosses in the 7 mins or so he was on, imagine if we’d had them the whole match? All on Moyes that one, could have won it.

I'd get it if he'd been absolutely dreadful since hes been in. But he hasn't. He hasn't been amazing by any stretch but hes offered us better balance.

Its dreadful management because it's showing it doesn't matter if you do well, Moyes has a pre determined mindset of players he wants in regardless. He's shown it with Keane, he's shown it with Gueye. Rohl had his best match against Villa and hasn't had a minute since. Armstrong had his best match against Villa and has now had to play 10 and 7 even though we have players who can play in those positions.

Square pegs in round holes when it isn't necessary just leads to disjointed performances.

….if it wasn’t clear before, it’s clear now that like others before him, Moyes thinks Patterson is a defensive liability, a risk not worth taking.

Personally, I agree so I understand the scenario of JoB at RB. What I don’t understand is the failure to bring in a top quality conventional RB, seems so daft when your only conventional option is clearly not good enough.
