Still can't believe Martinez dropped him.
And the moment McCarthy is back he'll be dropped for him, rather than drop the out of form player; Barry.
Its criminal that we are only using him because of injuries.

Still think he's more of a liability on the pitch than Barry - position ally he's very often all over the place and he's a yellow card waiting to happen. Poor mans Gravesen for me.
Besic was literally the only player I was happy with tonight. Full stop.

McCarthy Besic Barkley. Pace power and aggression. Get these three in the middle, Stones behind them, our two boss full backs in form, Pienaar and Mirallas flanking Lukaku and you tell me that team is not good enough for top 4.
That midfield could physically dominate anyone and they can all play. We should be able to bully Gerrard Lucas and Allen in the derby and dominate against the likes of Fletcher Fellaini Carrick, Dembele, Strambouli, Flamini Wilshere Cazorla. There is no reason apart from Roberto's stubborness to include Barry and Naismith that when McCarthy returns we can't have that midfield.
Him and John Stones for a few games maybe? Distin and Jags worry me when in possession and Alcaraz is just gash.Would he do at centre half against smaller strikers when James get back?

Anyone have a gif of that point where Besic and Barkley passed the ball back and forth about 10 times?he should be playing, and it should be next to barkley, imagine having two cm's that actually don't mind having the ball and not facing their own goal
First Besic was covering first post not big CD who was Distin duty and player was going on short corner Besic move few feet to cover if he pass to him witch they did lot in that game , second Naismith who I like ,stunk yesterday. Besic had 9 tackels and he fail to press , West Ham did not have 9 tackles .When Besic play poor game like Naismith was against West Ham i will be first to say it.You would really drop Naismith, especially after yesterday's performance? He played positive passes forward, barely gave away the ball ever, and I'm pretty sure he won more headers in midfield than the rest of our team combined. I don't understand how anyone could think Besic (who was at fault for West Ham's goal) had a better game than Naismith.
I think Besic played well, but he was caught out of position several times in defense, failing to press when the players around him did. I'll forgive him for it because he's young and new to the squad, but I won't pretend it didn't happen just because he did some cool looking skill moves.
That moment was funny any annoying at the same time from both of them. As I recall no one was moving around them and asking for the ball so they tried to keep possession at least. And they're both unexperienced so couldn't cope with it any other way. But I disagree on the other isuues with You: he was bad against Hull but yesterday he was very good. Good distribution and passing and 100% tackle succes. And I kinda like Naismith for his passion but he gave away a lot of balls and made unnecessary faults a lot of times.Anyone have a gif of that point where Besic and Barkley passed the ball back and forth about 10 times?
