Doesn't have to even mention it.

And Hibbo was swamped by the entire team he didn't even have time to celebrate.

It's just a little bit of a low blow.

Practically said - "Great memorable night, pleased he got the goal. But those nobheads ruined everything by running on the pitch"

Koff Moylez.

No he really didnt.

Said what he should have, no problem with that at all

But he did though.

If he was asked what he thought about the invasion then fine. But if he didn't, he doesn't have to reference it twice and concentrate on hibberts night and goal

Pretty ridiculous to say it considering that the clubs own marketing team adopted the fans 'if hibbo scores we riot' and emblazoned it all over the place.

What did he expect?

Has this been on twitter if not i dont believe it.

Harsh tbf, not many players will have the type of memory Hibbo would have got last night - i think something like that could only happen at Everton. It would be different if there was something sinister - but really it was just the good will of the fans.

Davey would do well to remember, that his and Hibbo wages are made on the backs of the fans. Still heart him though!

Moyes loved it as much as we did really, but as manager he has to say something like that to prevent the FA stepping in or for future invasions WHEN Hibbo scores

its like saying "nelson Mandela was released from prison. Was a great memorable and historical day. But those nobheads that crowded the streets and made all that noise ruined it" lol
Is it really anything like that? A senior member of the club has to say "running on the pitch isn't a good idea". It may well be that he doesn't share the sentiment and finds it disruptive, but doesn't need berating for it.

As others have said, he couldn't have come out with a "Yeah the pitch invasion was great" line. before you know it we would be banned from every away ground in the league.
