MOYES'S DISGUST

IF he comes back in for baines that will prove to me he hasn't changed one bit and won't make it there. Baines is so totally NOT the solution to his problems and if he goes with 'what he knows' it'll prove he's completely devoid of ideas

Overall Moyes did a good job for us. Not great, not bad, good.

He did a great job for the first 6 or 7 years I'd say when he had us challenging for the top 4 and in the Uefa Cup. The last 3 or 4 years though were average - sh*te. Finishing 6th, 7th or 8th, not winning any trophies and losing the same games every season (e.g. the derbies, the Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal games) made it turn very stale. That and his attitude. He strutted around the club as if he owned it and didn't give a toss what us supporters thought. Playing the same dire players and the same negative tactics, it really put people off.

When he left there was a general panic among many because there's a generation of Evertonians who only knew Moyes' Everton and just couldn't imagine life without him. They half-believed all the rubbish the media had been spewing for years about how we'd fall apart without him. Look how wrong that's been proven.

I don't blame him for going, he was here for 11 years which is unheard of in modern football and had to put up with a lot of crap during that time behind the scenes, he pretty much deserved the chance of a big break like the United job. The way he conducted himself though in the summer was terrible after everything he'd said about other clubs and their transfer policies in previous years. He completely disrespected the fans, his ex-players and the chairman with such derisory offers that he'd have laughed his t*ts off at if he were still Everton manager. Tapping up our backroom staff after being told he was getting the job by SAF wasn't a classy thing to do either.

In closing, Moyes has brought all the stick he's getting onto himself. He's completely p*ssed on Everton after everything we did for him. Who was Moyes before Everton? Everton were a big club before Moyes, even if we were in a state. We're still a big club now and we'll be a big club when he's 6 feet under. The only thing disgraceful about the whole thing is the fact he has the nerve to think Everton were nobody before him and he somehow made us famous.

I agree. Which means he's totally out of his depth, letting petty squabbles get in the way. Barkley will be next in the summer, then sit on the bench til he gets sacked mid-way through next season

If Barkley plays in the world cup he will be a hot property, could be some big names coming in for him, we only sold them Fellaini because Bill managed to get way too much for him, not a chance they will get Barkley and after the way Moyes treated him he wont want to go there anyway

Done my head in everyone around the Country thinking we boo'd him because he left, that is not the reason. he got a boss reception his last home game and was wished well.

The reason he got boo'd was because of the snarky comments he has made since. When he went to Anfield with United some of the stuff he said was disrespectful to us, all this knife to a gunfight bollocks, the I know Everton, Roberto will learn comments....trying to play on our financial vulnerabilities showed he was never a Blue.

I hope he gets them relegated and sees out his days managing the likes of Oldham.

Some one needs to get the images of the West Ham game together. Bill CRYING fans chanting his name.

Then put all whats gone on. Quotes. Fergies book etc.

Then put images of Oveido scoring us going wild. Moyes with a lemon in his mouth. Martinez just being cool and taking a gun to gun fights. Moyes disgusting quotes.

That would explain everything.

Making an utterly gash joint bid for our 2 best players tipped me over the edge I think.

I've said this before, but I'm sure that Moyes didn't put the price in when he tried to sign Baines and Fellaini.

Think about it. It isn't the managers job to decide the fee. He tells them who he wants and they do the negotiating.

FGS, leave him alone.

Davey all you had to say was "In the summer I said some things about Baines and Fellani which were disrespectful to the club. I didn't like it when it happened to me as a manager at Everton and should have known better. I apologize." Is that really too hard to do?

That is a good point. Many would understand that he is trying to be a bit like SAF and develop an aura befitting his new club. Unfortunately in trying to do that he has just moaned about the fixture list and bitten the hand that used to feed him. Under pressure and clearly feeling it. He did not like it when others treated him that way so made a big gaffe doing that to us and Martinez who was also under pressure to make a good start too. What goes around.......

Rooney didn't want to play for United when they were the champions. He's got 18 months left on his contract and I see him running it down unless there is a big turnaround and he gets the world-class playmaker that he's been asking for for so long.

Evra is 32, Ferdinand is 35, Vidic is 32, Carrick is 32 and Van Persie is 30. There is a rebuilding job to be done.
