Everton made Moyes. Not the other way around.
He seems to forget that the ungrateful bellend.
I was never his biggest fan as our manager. Neither was I his biggest detractor. I was glad to see him go, but grateful for what he did at our club, and I applauded him at Chelsea for his last game in charge. I even wished him well.
Then all the s***e started. His bids for our players were just business. Insulting, but just business. But his comments regarding these transfers and Everton in general have made my blood boil.
I don't care about the context or tone of his comments regarding this thread, I just hope he crashes and burns for the disrespect he's showed to the club that has put him where he is today.
I can't wait for tomorrow night, and the return fixture in April.
Regardless of interpretation placed on the divvy's comments just look at the concrete reality:
- even today he's still peddling a line that he left on a spare of the moment decision when SAF has already underlined phone conversations were in full swing on the matter just after the turn of last year. He's lying through his teeth trying to retain some dignity over the matter. Give him a free pass if you like, most (correctly) wont.
- he's halfway through the process of cherry picking the two best performers of the team he had here...as if they were his own personal collection he could turn up with a knife at our throat and get a two for one bargain offer on last summer. He's not on if he thinks he can talk his way out of that. It was a spit in the face. Turn the other cheek though if you like.
This game is bigger for him that RM or anyone else involved.
We win, we go 5 points ahead of him.
That would truelly be a kick in the balls, the man that replaced him has made his every word while at Everton look bull****e, and shown him up.
Moyes needs to win this game,
And be glad he's gone, and enjoy a brand of football we could only dream about, happy days are here again. You guys are just making yourself look bitter, finding everything wrong with him.
He didn't say anything wrong enough for the outrage some people are feeling.
It is history, onwards and upwards, not need to dwell on him.
He did an amazing job for us and now we are in another stage and we should be glad we had him to change our team
You guys are just making yourself look bitter, finding everything wrong with him.
Did fantastic work but feels like every word he speaks just chips away at what should be a fond legacy.
I don't want to remember him as bitter, or spiteful or as a liar but he's doing his best to convince me otherwise.
