Moyes 'The ungrateful irritant'

He inherited last years champions and we're currently above them, he took a team of champions over and is 9 points behind Arsenal FFS, pressures on Davey lad don't flap it and start throwing sly digs you bad goblin.

Great? Will the Moyes years really be seen as one of the ''great'' eras in the club's history in the same way we remember Catterick and Kendall?

I'd say in years to come we'll look back and appreciate that he steadied the ship, but nothing more.

Moyes has acted like an absolute tit since leaving but that is bollocks. How is going from 15th-17th each season to 6th-8th, "steadying" a ship? He improved us and has put us in the position we are today. Thankfully he's gone now and Martinez looks as if he can take us even further.

I'd say fighting relegation each year was like being a sinking ship.. he took us to mid table and higher without really giving us much hope of getting much higher, which I'd liken to 'steadying the ship.'

There it is.

Took the champions of England and made them mid-table.

It's a pity for his new club he isn't doing what he "praised" Martinez for: "keeping it going".

Exactly.

And tomorrow we know that win, lose or draw we'll have a right go at them.
Make a change from standing in awe like most visits with the now Lord of Old Traford (a.k.a. ginger arsewipe)

Starting around say 14th, steadying the ship would be finishing regularly around 14th... That's not what happened.

I think Moyes has proved over the last 6 months what kind of man he is and I will be over the moon if we can beat these at their own place. As many have said, we know that regardless of the result we'll give it a real go whatever happens which is something we couldn't ever have said when the team was under his management.

I think he will get sacked in the next 18 months and can't wait to see him koff to Germany or back to the lower leagues from whence he came.
