Moyes 'The ungrateful irritant'

He did a great job but that is in the past, we are moving onto a new phase.

He just wants to be another manager in the past by the way he acts and that is fine.
We have a new manager now and people need to stop being so hurt, he is now just another manager for another team.
People getting so heated

What I cannot understand is why none of the journalists present at today's press conference didn't ask why Moyes directly contradicted what Fergie himself wrote in his book. Moyes still maintained today that he only knew of the United job 4 weeks before he took it. Fergie wrote (in his much serialised book in the same papers those journos write for) that Moyes knew he was 'the chosen one' in JANUARY this year, when they met face to face.

Why Moyes even brought it up... and then to peddle the same lies that contradict what Fergie wrote, is a massive mystery.

If it was anyone else, at any other club (for instance, AVB at Spurs, who they're putting under pressure), they'd be all over this contradiction of facts.

Great? Will the Moyes years really be seen as one of the ''great'' eras in the club's history in the same way we remember Catterick and Kendall?

I'd say in years to come we'll look back and appreciate that he steadied the ship, but nothing more.

Because they enjoy a nice drink off United and keep their mouths shut.

Exactly. Steadied the ship, risk averse and bottler of big occasions......

Why did journalists never once question Dalglish whilst he was managing a once famous, fading, but still premier league club, about his documented associations with a known organised crime figure?

Is this actually a case that SAF told Moyes he would be the man when he retired... Then due to hip problems and other things, he decided to retire?
In which case Moyes knew he would be boss, but had no idea when until the announcement.. the 4 weeks thing may well be accurate, both of SAF's comments would also be correct?
Not read the book so I don't know, genuine question.

A steady ship would have us at mid table or surviving relegation every year, him along with the people he worked with changed us to think of a stead ship as getting 7th or 6th place every year.

So Moyes refusal to sign a new contract without any plausible explanation 'wait and see where we finish,. I've got a wry smile etc.', ...That was all a coincidence?

The fella couldn't lie straight in a coffin FFS

Him and his newly appointed assistant, who incidentally earnt in excess of 40m between them at Everton, let there contracts conveniently run out the same time as Fergies ran out. Meaning we never got a carrot for them. That's what both of them thought of Everton.

I'm not bitter as I never liked or rated either of them, but that I'm afraid is the truth

This.

I think any evertonian not seeing Moyes was taking the piss in the last season needs to look in the mirror no matter how loyal to his cause he fooked us over.

i liked moyes for sum reason...he kept us up there, with nothing, and yes we won nothing..but better than relegation...but now i completely despise the ****,we best ****in win COYB!

Just read some more comments from his interviews with the written press, what an absolute egomaniac ****.

'Everton fans see a direction that their team is going in but they need to remember I signed a lot of them"

"But to be fair to him Roberto is doing a really good job keeping things going at Everton"
