Moyes or Glasner?

A comparable team that won a trophy and should be playing europa league football?

But sure let’s just him on the 6 months where he had his best players sold and is on his way out the door. Aka the exact situation we had here after we messed Carlo around.
The finished below 8th last season…And had a better team then we have.
They did well winning the cup but plenty of teams win a cup. A huge amount of luck falls into it. It’s not a sign it can be replicated.
If Moyes left I wouldn’t be disapointed to get him in, but sacking Moyes for him is insane… Moyes also one a cup the other season and got West Ham in Europe.

Insane? Really?

I read Glaser ( as in utd owners, which probably isn't spelled like that anyway ).

Glasner did well after a notably rocky start. Lot of talent in that FA Cup team. Henderson, guehi, eze, Mateta Wharton etc. Must be gutted to hear the constant speculation around the players ( he's lost two of those already, Olise was before he joined I believe).

Esp as Europe piles on more games and even greater squad demands on what is still a smaller London club that like Fulham, West Ham, Watford etc, have all yo-yo'd in recent times.

So I feel Glasner has done very well, plenty of good smaller teams struggle during all the extra Europe games and travel. He's delivered a cup, players will be worth a lot, and they'll be ok in the prem this year.

Does he seem very 'everton '? For me, go for Poch, maybe even Ancelotti wouldn't mind another spin?

Why muddle around with managers in the same league berth as Moyes. If so De Zerbi might get some better football out our forward minded players, and may view our full back positions as say, an opportunity.

Ireola or however you spell the Bournemouth guys name is a shout, too.

Fair enough, he hasn’t demonstrated that flexibility at Palace and seems to be unable to arrest the slide they’re currently on. I’m sceptical about whether our fans would allow him the patience to embed a system.

He’s just in same position that happens when you know your leaving and the players know you’re leaving. Same thing happened with Ferguson, Klopp, Ancelotti and even Moyes.
Ferguson won the league…. But you know…
Same people that called for potter, frank, ect
Insane? Really?
yeah, look at the league table and justify your position with how
A how we are doing
B how palace are doung
C how that compares to how West Ham did under Moyes.

Glasner's CV is very good. How would it be insane to appoint him and let Moyes go? Do you honestly think Glasner would have us worse then mid-table? For what it's worth Glasner wouldn’t be my first choice as new manager but he's more than capable

He did, yeah, and he's a good coach for sure (imo), but PL and La Liga are different animals altogether.
Financially absolutely, unless the top 3 no one can keep up due to the financial cap. I think the football is better generally.

Tbf, he does well at Bournemouth, invested a fair amount but lifted the club.

Don't think doing the little-to-no-investment path is realistically doable in the Prem to be honest. Yeah you can get an odd gem here and there but you kind of need to spend money to get quality.

Ferguson didn't win the league. He lost the league the season he announced his retirement and United fell off..Then he changed his mind at the end of that season and decided not to retire. The following season he won the league and completely refused too say whether he would retire at the end of that season. Lesson learned..
You're also conveniently ignoring the other examples of same thing happening to Klopp etc

Take away the fa cup, would you look at him as perfect manager?
If someone else with Moyes record at West Ham was available we would full of people suggesting we get him… equally someone performing like Moyes is now for another club would be flavour of the month.
If moyes was doing badly then I accept that… but looking to change him now we are top half is insane. Especially for someone that fa cup win aside has been out performed by moyes
