That's a rather obvious and glaring "slight" though. Even Moyes was seen giving more of a care in the final few months before leaving us for Man Utd.Shouldn't even be a debate.
The only slight on Glasner is that he seems to have fully given up on Palace now, which is not a particularly great look..
I'm firmly in the Moyes camp, and it's simply that i think he is doing a good job, we are 8th in the league despite a lot of setbacks. Thing is he has an ability to carry big and small setbacks rather well, that kind of stuff is really a big part of what "stability" is about. The players are able to bounce back from bad results, they don't let their heads drop when things don't go their way and Moyes obviously has their back - and backing.
Compare that to the situation with Dyche at Forest now or Frank at Spurs. The former is an example of inability to carry those setbacks, the latter is an example of what we've usually had to face as a fanbase. We carried Dyche, Silva, Lampard and Martinez for at least two months too long on each occasion. Moyes has not yet suffered through his position becoming untenable, and that is honestly down to his skill as a manager.
If you ask me, Glasner is currently way deep down in untenable territory, even discounting the fact he already decided to leave in the summer. Proper definition of dead man walking.
