Moyes admits desire to manage in Germany

Yakubu, Arteta and Jagielka all played when Oldham and Reading tossed us out of the F.A Cup at Goodison too.

Good tactics and a correct mentality instilled by the manager goes hand in hand with good players, the fact that we had one effort on goal after the opener in the F.A Cup shows that we had no other plan then to desperately hold on to a slim lead, a tactic that has been a blueprint of Moyes' stay at Everton at one that was criminally exposed by Dalglish's lot at Wembley this year.

Heartbreaking, embarassing and utterly predictable.

Perhaps it's not about a pay rise for himself, perhaps he's putting the pressure on in terms of having a transfer kitty of some kind. "Let me spend and I'll stay".

anyone really surprised, look at martin o neil wasted his chances of managing a top side by not moving abroad when he had the chance back in the day.

Moyes isnt an up and coming manager anymore, none of the top teams in england will look at him, what other choice does he have.
he needs to make a name for himself win a few trophies and then maybe in a few years time one of europes elite will take a punt on him.

I think Moyes mindset and way of thinking is the exact opposite of a german TBH. Italy would suit him better.

I'd say France, he'd fit right in with those cheese-eating surrender monkeys.

Not a chance, we argued this last time he stalled on a contract, the money we got for Fellaini came directly from McFadden and Johnson moving on, and he recieved a nice pay rise himself on top.

If he wants to put pressure on the board he shouldn't be coming out every five minutes speaking about his "great relationship" with our chairman who offers nothing to the club.

I doubt he's a household name on the continent TBF.

If I asked who manages Lille, Hannover or Betis. most would need to look it up. We haven't made a big enough impact in European football under him for us to be any different.

Why cos he wants to manage in Europe, he done a great job for us.

This is where thinking of us as a big successful club one of the institutions of the footballing world causes grief, because what he's done doesn't fit in with that - existing in the division was the the job of Coventry, Southampton, Charlton, and other non descripts.

Produce young players?!

Tomorrow at West Ham "Right lads Phil is back, sorry Ross you're behind this 35 year old has been"

Exactly..

Wouldnt be the worst thing in the world to happen..

Right now we havent won ANY trophy with him and finish outside of the European spots.. He does well with transfers but thats about it.

Existing? he's taken us from relegation fodder to consistently finishing upper reaches of the league, on a budget of £10M net in 10 years.

Trapped in 4 years in the 80's some of our fanbase ffs.
