Moyes admits desire to manage in Germany

When we got to the final and went ahead despite losing our best players for the game... didn't look a miliion miles away then.. Lost to the most expensively assembled team on the planet by one goal in the end.. Who knows maybe with the 2 or 3 hundred million they had spent on their team, we may have got that additional goal we needed?

We didn't need an additional goal we needed two. We haven't got the 3 hundred mill. So the comment is valid.

Moyes to Schalke04 NAILED ON. But yeah in Germany there's a bunch of sides that can win the league so it's also a more interesting project than ingerland where you need to have billioNz to compete.

I think he massively over-estimates his rep IMO. I imagine his appointment would be met with a large 'MEH' by everyone bar the also rans in Germany.

If he wants to go and work somewhere else, we can't stop him. I don't want him to go, but he will get my best wishes.

I will then look forward to who gets the job next and what that brings us.

Just like before (well, those of us who remember life pre-Moyes).

Nothing we can do about it anyway.

We've beaten Chelsea 4 times since the cup final so why people think they're some unstoppable force is beyond me.

We sh*t it, pure and simple, all I remember is scoring and launching it to no-one for 90 minutes, horrible game.

Ok, we scored first in a cup final.. Bayern will be on the phone as we speak.

You can be as sarcastic as you like but the question was asked when have we ever looked like winning a trophy? The answer was when we were 1-0 up in the final.
Of course you can dismiss Moyes lack of transfer power and Chelsea's hundreds of millions, the bad luck of losing our best players at the time and just go with sarcasm if it helps you feel better about slating the best thing that has happened to us in a couple of decades if you like. Preternding its all irrelevent doesn't make it so though.

That we lost our creative force and our best defender didn't help

What is going on?!

This all comes from a Daily Mail article. How long have we been taking that seriously?!

I'm certain this is an old story they have re-used to stir up trouble.

He's used the word 'tempo' there. That's a 'come and get me Euro club' plea if ever I heard one.

I expect Moyesie to start working words like tempo and 'moment' and 'phase' into his weekly press conferences.

It'll be more interesting than no comment and a death stare.
