Moyes admits desire to manage in Germany

Said it a few times in a few threads before this years January window opened he spent a post-match with another premier league manager . During the conversation I'm told moyes discussed the possible plans for his future and exactly like the story reported here he discussesd a interest/desire in coaching abroad. This wasn't in a bid to improve his contract as far as I'm aware it was a general chat and in it moyes expressed he felt he'd like to experience it & was conscious of how it'd improve his CV as well . I'm also aware of very strong rumours his people informally approached a European club looking for a manager in the past , I think 2010 or there or thereabouts .

So I'm not saying moyes will go and is about to sign just that I have and still believe (even more after this article ) that its something he's serious about.

"They seem to have found a way of producing young players."

I dont think he's paying attention, tbh. Almost all the Bundesliga sides I've seen are chocca with eastern Europeans, Africans, Japanese and latin players. Statistically, almost half of Bundesliga 1 teams are foreign players. Less than the PL average but more than La Liga. They've produced a young national team. Maybe he's confusing the two issues.

"That would be my project: to understand football better".

That would explain the 2 unused substitutes sitting on the bench when we're chasing a game, then.

"I would probably go to Germany, in part because of the mentality, which is similar to mine...
If...not...I think I would decide to go to South America: to Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay,
"

He sounds like a nazi war criminal, tbf.

He didn't mention Ecuador, surprised myself.

What a ridiculous thing to say? When have ever looked like winning a trophy with Moyes in charge?

When we got to the final and went ahead despite losing our best players for the game... didn't look a miliion miles away then.. Lost to the most expensively assembled team on the planet by one goal in the end.. Who knows maybe with the 2 or 3 hundred million they had spent on their team, we may have got that additional goal we needed?

Ok, we scored first in a cup final.. Bayern will be on the phone as we speak.
