Im surprised Aresanal havnt been in for him theyve been linked with an 18mill bid for Alonso this morning, would have said that Mouthino is more Wengers type of player.

I doubt it, Moutinho is too similar to Fabregas and not as good, he'd only really be an undertudy there.

Alonso plays alot deeper and could let Fabregas roam and do his stuff. Even that for me thougth would be the wring signing for Arsenal, they need a big [Poor language removed] in the Viera mould. Maybe someone like Yaya Toure.

They have also been linked with Barry today, be funny to see them snatch him from under the noses of that lot

Well if there's been 8 pages since I last logged on, them i'm going to read them all to see if there's any info in there relating to the transfer. Yes I always read the last page first, but am still inclined to read all the other pages too.

Anyway this thread isn't even about Moutinho anymore, just Johnson and Manny which there are other threads for.

I agree with Ajax... this thread is getting messier than Neville in midfiled. Can't it be cleansed? It is tiresome sorting through the personal, off-topic bickering in hopes of find the relevant golden Moutinho nugget.

Thing is though TX, another thread would eventually turn into the same thing (y)

Everyone please try and keep this thread to topic, with just discussion on anything regarding Moutinho.

Actually it wouldn't if this one was closed and a new one opened once something significant occurs. The problem is there's so little to discuss on this topic people end up drifting off on a tangent about something very loosly related. I.e. Moutinho-Wenger-Arsenal-Barry-Liverpool-Xabi Alonso.

I think 80 odd pages is enough for one thread.

Actually, it would.

One of many Moutinho threads.

Do you think this is the only Moutinho thread we have had?

A new thread will appear if something significant occurs. I would rather all minor developments such as the odd comment was kept to one thread, rather than cluttering the forums.

So enough chat about closing this thread, its staying. If you have a problem about reading through threads, then simply dont. If your just after news and news alone, newsnow is your friend.

Now back to Moutinho developments lads.

And you still talk off-topic about ppl making this thread about being off-topic so other ppl have to read about you talking about the off topic in the topic.

You dig?

Everything in this topic is hear-say. Surely anything else that has to be said will be under a new topic. "Moutinho signs or Mountinho commits future to Sporting".

Fair enough, but maybe it should be moderated a bit better then to ensure that it stays on topic?

As for a new thread appearing if something significant happens, well it wont as it clearly states on the title of this thread 'all talk in here please', so it will end up in here amongst all the unrelated stuff.

I dont have a problem reading through threads, I just think that if its been stated that we should only have 1 thread for ALL moutinho talk then it should be regulated a lot better. I'm not just after news, I like to read other people's opinions on topics... but if I click on a topic it would be nice for the discussions to be about THAT topic. I just think having one thread for a topic means people just chat about other things in it when theres no new developments... people like me log on in the morning to see 8 new pages, read all of them hoping for some juicy info or rumour on the moutinho transfer and spend ages reading totaly unrelated discussions.

Anyway i've made my point, i'm sure some people will agree with me and some not. So seeing as i've also taken up some space on this thread with 'non moutinho' talk i'll leave it there.
