Therefore, without any proving document any offer by Everton wouldn't be binding for the buyer.
So it can't be binding to sporting when it comes to the compensation fee issue neither.
I don't have perfect knowledge of the clause, I just know it exists. At first I thought Sporting would have to pay 10% of the offer. Then in the press came that it was only 10%of the difference between the offer and the agreed limit of 15M €. For example, in a 20M offer the compensation would be 10% of 20-15=5...meaning, 500k payable in 10 installments.
So this news is something that shall be enlightened in the next few days.
