Would you have a sense of how much Sporting would want for Mouthino mate and does that clause in his contract for a release fee for a certain date during the summer still apply!

The clause is 25M€ (with the sterling pound depreciation I think it is around 22.5M£).

Please buy him...give him the chance to be a player...Buy him and Vukcevic and Veloso...

Oh please, Mr Moyes...

So much talent wasted over there...

just because someone plays in a league other than England, Spain, Italy, doesn't mean that their talent is wasted, far from it.

It is when Bayern whipes your arse at your home 5-0.

Just take them out of that **** hole...And I'm a Sporting fan, mate.

That crappy manager is screwing us apart.

Bad night mate i watched the highlights some really obscene defending.

How is Rochemback in a midfeild that contains Veloso and Mouthino.

Just watched the highlights too. Awful game to lose like that to those arrogant jerks - I feel sorry for you heading to Munich on a nothing match (although the beer and girls might help).

Maybe that's decided Moutinho to get out, though?

Veloso is injured but is also in conflict with the manager. Absolutely classless defenders. Pure crap.

Moutinho has been playing as attacking midfield, and today reverted to inner right midfielder. Romagnoli (should be long gone) played in such a big match after a long absence and played like crap (as usual). After beating Benfica in a breathtaking second half (lost some crazy chances), the gaffer changes 5 players for the CL. I think he was trying to spare some players for the weekend (against Porto away) but he should know that agaist german sides, you take the risk of losing your dignity.

It looks like Munich is a nice city and the allianz arena is breathtaking. I'll post some pics. b)

Was a shocking performence to be fair, anyone who can make Luca Toni look good cant be proud of themselves.

Seemed like really bad coaching form a defensive point of view some very basic erors and then the confidence went.

In fairness though the majority of the Sporting players looked absolutley gutted with the result and performence going of! I thnk they knew they let the fans down big time tonight!(y)

Try and enjoy the night mate!

Allianz Arena is a superb stadium, imagine if we get something like that? In Stanley Park, im hoping this is the plan b that we dont have, shared stadium should the way forward for us both.

Somehow I don't think so:
Cost
The cost of the construction itself ran to €286 million but financing costs raised that figure to a total of €340 million. In addition, the city and State incurred approximately €210 million for area development and infrastructure improvements.
added to that it's further out than Kirkby (ducks) way out near the motorway junction (ducks again) reached at end of local rail line (stays crouching in foxhole) and that the richer club (Bayern) has "arranged" a buy-out of the less well-off (1860) to now own 100% of the stadium.

(Nobody goes there of course because it's not in the city and the youngsters are now more interested in slapping their thighs than football. "Die Stadt gehört uns" can be heard sung from the numerous beerhalls and traditional lederhosen shops.)

Moutinho though would grace either the Allianz or Goodison or a new stadium...

Don't know where you are getting at, but some facts about Allianz Arena (taken from their website):

"The police advise all fans to use the Munich public transport system to ensure getting to the stadium in safety and on time. If you are travelling by train from Munich's main station or from Munich East catch the S-Bahn to Marienplatz and then change to underground line U6 (in the Garching-Hochbrück direction).

Travel to Fröttmaning on the underground. Travel time from Marienplatz is approximately 16 minutes. You then have a short walk via the Esplanade to the stadium. We recommend you use the Park and Ride(P+R) facilities and use public transport for a stress-free journey."

"9,800 parking spaces are available in the Allianz Arena multi-storey car park. There are also 1,200 VIP spaces in the stadium and coach parks on the north and south sides of the Arena with space for 350 coaches. You can also find information on the easiest way home."

So there are 11,000 parking spaces next to the stadium, an underground line and so on. A bit different from the "no parking near stadium for regular punters and only one single-track line train station 15 minutes away".

And I don't think the police would advise people to use public transport to the Kirkby stadium...

**** off to Fröttmaning, the city's all ours...

Has a certain ring to it.

The situation of the Allianz is a bit different, but shows what is possible when local and regional governments get their fingers out (and countries aren't busy slashing or outsourcing their public spending). It's a stadium which is often held up as a shining example on this board and there are interesting parallels (imo, pro and con) to Everton's situation.

(I live not a million miles away from the Allianz, by the way, and so am pretty familiar with the concept of buying a ticket to a sporting event or a concert and having the public transport included in the ticket, as those who were in Nürnberg will also have experienced.)

That would be an interesting scheme, unfortunately in Kirkby public transport would be useless to move most people to and from the stadium.

Without a doubt.

So do Alan Stubbs, Abel Xavier, Gary Speed and Michael Branch.

A few youngsters do too, one wasn't happy with a post regarding his hair.

to be fair on the lad in question, he did get welts' young scrote worst barnet award, and got well ripped to bits in the process, and it wasnt jpk so you can imagine how bad it is

back to moutinho though, we should try for a loan now imo, with a purchase clause. it would get the s.t.'s in if there was a promise to get him from the s.t. money.
