What’s worrying me the most is that people keep calling the dog handler a woman, when it’s clearly a man. Anyway, they were repeatedly instructed to move.
Yeah again you’ve ignored everything I’ve said & continued to use “words”.
I understand your position. You fully expect Police Officers to volley your head off if you’re tasered & in the prone position unable to move.
What you expect & what the rules are to self defence is are clearly very different.
I bet the one who got bit on his rear end will be a bit wary of police dogs in the future….

I appreciate your professional opinion mate. I have one of those, too.
I'm commenting on what I can see. That being a physical attack and unnecessary escalation in response to words/verbal exchange.
As I said - never excused or justified. This fella tried to claim he acted in self defence in response to words too;

Police officer who tackled violence against women fired for ‘punching two women’
Incident believed to have been triggered by a conversation about Meghan Markle and racewww.independent.co.uk
It doesn't wash.
Yeah I only watched it the once & for some reason the
Fine, you’re absolutely entitled to your opinion & your interpretation of self-defence.
However, I find it mind boggling that you’re holding two police officers to the highest of standards in situations like that but have no issue with a far more highly trained fire arms officer booting a lads head in when the threat has been removed.
But that’s just me I suppose.
The comparison I’m desperate to make, as you put, is the 2nd officer & the firearms officer both being completely in the wrong. He should have booted him again.
But again - they're worlds away. Any 'professional' would recognise that.
The comparison you're desperate to make - is on the dog video, the fella is on the floor and they're still continuing to belt him. No way the police are disoriented from repeated punches to the back of the skull there either.
The comparison I’m desperate to make, as you put, is the 2nd officer & the firearms officer both being completely in the wrong.
Both officers making an arrest, one more highly trained than the other, have used excessive force in both scenarios.
I’m giving my professional opinion based on how the Manchester Airport Firearm Officer behaved, which was illegally.
Not just youYeah I only watched it the once & for some reason I thought he had long blonde hair ha

Got the Baird report to work through. And it consumes a lot of energy, not least when the Lawrence family have been dragged through their horror yet again around the same time the Baird report was published.@Rita_Poon thought you'd have been all over this latest outrageous police assault
You’re funny.Nobody cares what anyone from the Wirral thinks mate.

Would it be cynical of me to suggest the police response to the Southport show-downers was purposefully limp wristed? To then make way for subsequent shows of force? I believe a narrative is being established, and I'm not sure I'm going to like which way it ends up headed.
I've been wrong before, I'll be wrong again.
With heightened tempers and more toxicity in every equation I sincerely hope there is not significant bloodshed or worse.
Another Duggan or de Menezes type incident now I believe would see catastrophic incidents develop country wide.
Thank you for your thought though.
You’re funny.
How many billions were wasted with the national ID fiasco? And would it make undocumented people second class citizens? It all ends with Digital ID.
