Another wonderfully bright but very cold morning. I wish I was as confidant about Everton as I am about Ireland in the rugby.

I completely agree with @Armaghtoffee , I have absolutely no confidence in Everton getting anything at OT even though half their team is out injured.
Was going to watch it whilst on the bike and treadmill at the gym but still full of cold so probably not the best idea.
Last night's listening session ended with Kate Bush , The Ninth Wave a glass of port and getting text updates from a table tennis match. All a bit surreal but good nonetheless.
Rosie is being a pain as I type and crying. You'd think she wants to go out but oh no she's crying because good boy Tintin who sleeps in his basket all night has the temerity to jump on the bed for a morning cuddle and Miss bossy boots wants the bed to herself . Dogs....you've got to love them. Well we do anyway.
Mrs J introduced the dogs to a potential new pet sitter yesterday as plan B or even c when we go away. The last time we tried this the pups weren't having her at all just barked relentlessly. This time they were all over her with Rosie wanting to kiss her all the time. Strange!
Anyway fingers crossed for us getting something other than a defeat at OT and have a lovely day everyone.

Good morning all. Overtime coffee break. Halfway through. Should finish in time to watch the mighty Blues. I will be sad if we don't get something out of this game. We just need a couple of chances to go in and the opposition goalie not to have the game of his life - which seems to happen a lot this season. I actually think Utd's keeper is rubbish - considering how much they paid for him.

On @Terrarian and @Barnfred 55 recommendations I moved onto Love/Hate last night. Very similar to Kin from the outset.
But! And it’s a big but! The adverts every 7 or 8 minutes is headmelting in this era of streaming. I know you can pay for no ads on the platform but I pay enough for TV as it is. Not sure if I can persist with it.

Never used ITVx. Can you not FF through the ads if its streaming? The site I watched it on had no ads. Deffo in my top 10 TV shows if the last 10 years so worth persisting with if you can nate.

Weather atrocious here. Luckily I don't need to venture out today. A day in front of the TV watching the racing I think. Then cooking my fave spicy fried rice now I've resupplied on the rice. Hopefully a bottle or two of Spingo too.

We watch ITVx but have to put up with the ads as not prepared to pay for the ad-free, you can’t fast forward the ad break and have to watch. Have noticed that if the programme is not that recent there are fewer ads though.

Never knew that about ad frequency. Makes sense though to drive sales of the Premium service.
