Had some belting news yesterday, as a good few of you know I've been waiting for a new house to get built to move back to Liverpool after my old man passing away kicked me into doing something I "edit: word for cat" footed around for years. Started this process in February and multiple delays from the builders put it all into jeopardy because Tories driving the economy into the ground.

My Mortgage Advisor got back to me yesterday and said they've extended my offer on the original rates to meet the new build estimation after they initially said I'd have to do a new application because of the new rates. I'm effing thrilled.

Found these this afternoon amongst some old papers. They were both taken at Skegness, first is my Mum (on the left), Dad and his sister, couple in the second one look like two people that I used to know. lol

It really shouldn't have caused me as much stress as it has but work maxes me out anyway and I'm usually 4000 miles away from my new home with work.

Throw on Liz Truss just being an absolute Tory and it was the ultimate relief when I got the message from my Mortgage Advisor yesterday.

Found this on a wall not a good photo as it was quite dark but at least you can see the colour of the invader it was about 5" across ,no just joking it was about 1" or so .

Good morning all on this dark cold day here in Finland .I everyone had a great night and have a fine day today .A certain @Barnfred 55 is conspicuous by his absence .I hope no one has run off with his gin bottles as he just might need one tonight .Some great memories from @Gwladysover .and once again a great extract from WSAG thanks to @Armaghtoffee . Making a chicken curry for our guests tonight ,the wife normally does a two day prepared meal but this time we are doing a soup ,curry and a cheesecake .For the benefit of @Vegas Toffee Girl it does not go near an oven it is all done cold .Have great day all.COYB.
