Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

What water stagnant here in Finland ! No it was a beautiful lake called Bodomjarvi . Here is a google shot and I knew the lady who lived in this house .:-https://www.google.com/maps/@60.2660675,24.655567,3a,75y,100.74h,89.13t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1siFSI91ZdhTmO87AljmZVlw!2e0!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fpanoid%3DiFSI91ZdhTmO87AljmZVlw%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D250.86124%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i13312!8i6656
In that case I've no idea Blue. Mine all had a nice clean salty taste.

We don't get Bramley's seedling here ,worse we have no alternative ,the nearest is the honourable Granny Smith .
Fun fact for you:

The reputation of Armagh as the Orchard County is solely due to the Armagh Bramley Apple. 99% of all top fruit grown in Northern Ireland is Bramley Apple, and 95% of all top fruit grown in Northern Ireland is in Armagh.

Remember that Green survey I had a few weeks back? Well, it seems I qualify for cavity wall and loft insulation, and maybe an Air Source Heat Pump. All for gratis. The insulation is a no brainer, obvs, but that heat pump? Not convinced if I am honest.

The gas bill has already gone from £270 pm to £85 pm, due to my usage anyrate, and a heat pump has to be on all the time, powered by leccy. (It works the opposite way a fridge does). You need new rads, new piping, (all gratis), so if you find the leccy costs far out weigh the gas cost, you are lumbered with it.

Thats without the fact that the log burner seems to keep the whole downstairs reasonably warm, and dead toastie in the snug. We have a reasonable carbon footprint as it is, so dont really want to be lumbered with a dead expensive heating system just to satisfy some Go Green target.

Ta mate. That was my thought, just using common sense. Looking at the motor needing to be powered in a fridge, to the one in the photos I have seen in a heat pump, is obviously expensive to keep on 24/7.

Will still have the insulation, unless its an all or nothing thing (which I doubt) deal. Better insulation is just obviously an improvement.

As I am so upset -I don't think it is a harvest until you have harvested them !!! I would ask you to post some but the smeel would be awful by the time they arrived .
Thanks so much for posting the mag pages I have enjoyed them so much and they have thrown some enlightenment my way ,I thought that the way that some behave on here is a new thing seemingly it is not at all .We might not be bitter but my word we can moan about our team and players and don't mention the board .

The cider companies have already started to get their share- most of the crop here goes to Magners/Bulmers. Local shops will give them away as well, particularly the butchers if you buy a pork roast.

My pleasure on WSAG, just glad it’s providing a bit of fun.
