Antiques Roadshow from Liverpool at 7.00.

Then Frozen Planet at 8.00. (Not from Liverpool).

Log burner all toasty, fish chips and peas. Glass (or 2) of red. I have simple needs. But for some utterly unknown reason, have felt really sad at times today. Maybe cos that ^^^^ would have been a classic Nik/Roydo evening while she was getting better. Actually, before she was poorly ill. Dunno.

Then get a text that me eldest has his accomodation sorted for when he and his GF chip off to NZ later in the year, on a work/holiday 2 year visa, which makes me feel happy. Pretty sure I have said before, the best thing you can give a child is wings.

I'm watching Antiques Roadshow. Sefton Park is just lovely. As I've said many times before I went to school near Sefton Park, my Dad doesn't live very far away and when I bought my first home it was a flat overlooking Sefton Park. It's nice to see Liverpool showcased in such a good way. I'm going to watch Frozen Planet as well.

Understandable that you feel sad having what would have been a perfect evening for you both, on your own. Tale care mate x

Good afternoon all. Bit chilly and rainy here.Im trying to get as much done as I can by tomorrow so I don't leave anything outstanding before I'm off. However that now depends on other people getting things back to me in time.
Good win for Everton women yesterday. Hopefully the men can do something similar when it's their turn again.
@roydo how amazing was Frozen Planet? Those eagles - brutal.

Final push in the gym this week. Three sessions with the PT, tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday. Every little helps.

Enjoy the rest of your day. X

Evening everyone from a very soggy Sorrento.
Yet another day of unremitting rain and squelching through puddles in wet clothes.
So, apologies to @Gwladysover but I couldn't be arsed taking a photo in the pouring rain today.
Anyway had an excellent lunch and a fine bottle of red and remarkably now after almost 48 hours of rain , its stopped.
Fingers crossed the next 2 days look OK before 2 more days of thunderstorms.
Have a lovely evening everyone.

Sorry to hear that the weather hasn’t been very kind to you today. I’ll let you off about the photos, it’s raining here too so I only need to look out of the window. lol Hope the weather is better for you tomorrow.

Evening everyone, been quite Autumnal today, cool and windy. Don’t know whether you’ve seen on the news that Jupiter is the closest it has been to the Earth in 59 years. Hannah (grandchild no 3) had a telescope last Christmas and has been so excited, hoping to get a good view. Wouldn’t you know, it’s raining.:(
Defo lost a couple of degrees overnight. Had to go to the hardware gaff near my office and pick up a space heater. Woolly jumper time, now.

That’s a shame about Jupiter watch. Kids into astronomy are automatic good ones.
