Hello folks, hope you are all OK. We had a nice time with our neighbour last night, she didn't go home until midnight We had a few beers with her and wished her well. She's moving to Devon and has a job as a Community nurse in Torquay working with drug and alcohol addicts. She's a good person and I hope she can put everything behind her and make a new start. She's much more philosophical about her partner doing a runner now, still angry that he has left her in loads of debt but feels like ultimately, even after 11 years with him, she dodged a bullet. The house she sold was her house so he isn't entitled to anything.

Haven't done much today. Mr F is watching yet another war film, Von Ryan's Express and, true to form, has fallen asleep!

Hope things turn out well for your neighbour she deserves a bit of luck. I went to see Von Ryan’s Express at the pictures, seen it lots of times since, Kelly’s Heroes still my favourite though. Traditional in our house to watch it every Christmas.

You're supposed to put open sauce in the fridge it says on the bottles lol.

I don't have vicks, it was first thing I thought of or olbas oil. This blockage is horrendous, never known anything like it. I even put pepper up my nose to try n sneeze but didn't work.

Oh by the way, I must've been wrong about that cat with no ears, I saw it on someone's doorsteps before so I guess all was OK.

Very , very wet here in Italy. Despite the torrential rain we took the train to Erculano and visited the ruins.
They are incredibly well preserved and very impressive but we got drenched and found out my waterproof wasn't.
Weatherso bad out train broke down on the return and we all had to wait on the platform with no cover for the next one. That struggled with the conditions too but we just made it back as they were cancelling all trains.
More weather like this for the next 3 days!
Ah well.

I cannot unblock my nose, it is quite stressful lol Can't even go get a nasal spray as it's sunday ffs.

I have one of these but I used it wrong. I know what I did wrong so I might give it a try when I get some eggs.

So do you guys keep eggs in the fridge or not, what about sauces(ketchup/brown etc) fridge or cupboard?

Do you like chocolate cold or room temperature? I put everything in the freezer sweets and chocolate wise, last longer lol

Eggs and sauces in the cupboard. Chocky defo better cold, though.

Spot on . It is usually absolutely packed but there were only a few idiots like me and Mrs J stupid enough to brave the weather , mostly Americans.

Forgot to add Mrs J thought it funny to sing the song that has the line walk on through the rain, walk on through the storm , you know the one ,as we walked around the ruins , I could have throttled her.
