Not for me Blue. I know venison tartare is a thing but I'm not really into raw meat. 2kg is a lot of meat for 2 people. Presumably you'll freeze most of it.We were given 2kg of white tailed deer mince when we were back in Espoo this morning .Ramsey would make a burger of it but we are having some of it as tartare . Also, presumably if you're eating it raw it would normally be the fillet as that's the leanest. Or doesn't it work that way with venison due to it being a much leaner meat than beef anyway.?We were given 2kg of white tailed deer mince when we were back in Espoo this morning .Ramsey would make a burger of it but we are having some of it as tartare . My god!Letitia asked me to ask you Fred ,did she mention a glacé cherry wrapped in a bacon slice on the BBQ .Quite the sweet salty taste and very moorish .
Yes we do Fred ,we eat quite small amounts or I gain too much weight ,all of this doing nothing most of the time life style. Not for me Blue. I know venison tartare is a thing but I'm not really into raw meat. 2kg is a lot of meat for 2 people. Presumably you'll freeze most of it.
Yes it is very lean when you cook it it must have more fat -butter or wrapped in bacon or something like that . We don't have lard here ! Oh for a dripping butty .Also, presumably if you're eating it raw it would normally be the fillet as that's the leanest. I forgot to mention I was at least 55 before I could face raw beef ,we had been to the Alps and the wife had tartare , one day I tried it and I was so surprised .I accept it is not for everyone but what is ?Not for me Blue. In fairness I did try it once in France many years ago. It was the texture I didn't like plus the smell of uncooked beef. Not tried raw venison.I forgot to mention I was at least 55 before I could face raw beef ,we had been to the Alps and the wife had tartare , one day I tried it and I was so surprised .I accept it is not for everyone but what is ?
I get it Duc but only a very mild version in my finger joints. Mainly the 2 little ones, so it doesn't really cause me any problems. probably had it about 5 years or so but it hasn't seemed to get any worse fortunately..Has anyone ever got arthritis in their hands, I have been in agony lately with it , just sort of sneaked up on me
very very painful had X rays yesterday getting ultrasound tomorrow, for those that have had/have it you can relate have been taking loads of anti-inflammatory meds, thinking a cortisone shot maybe the answer
Need 2 hands putting the kettle on, I'll be drinking my pints with a straw next, just seeing if any fellow folk on here have gone through this, only good thing Mrs D has to cut the lawn as I'm to injured
The wife has rheumatoid arthritis ,not the same but she was lucky catching it early ,my adice is take the meds .She has meds that make her feel real bad some Tuesdays but she takes another to counteract on Wednesday and she is much better than we thought after 15 years or so .Has anyone ever got arthritis in their hands, I have been in agony lately with it , just sort of sneaked up on me

I have it, like Fred, it’s mainly in my finger joints. The cold doesn’t affect me too much, I find the pain is worse in hot/humid weather. My advice would be take the meds. hopefully they will bring the inflammation under control and lessen your pain.Has anyone ever got arthritis in their hands, I have been in agony lately with it , just sort of sneaked up on me
