Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Hello friends. Feeling sad this morning as we find out a bit ago that my husband’s grandma died. She was 97 so it was expected and she died peacefully in her sleep which I’m grateful, but her departure leaves a big hole in our heart as she was the last grandma from his side and my side that was alive, and after losing his uncle just a couple of months ago, it feels as my husband’s mom side of the family are all gone except for her. It just breaks my heart that realization that a whole generation of family members are leaving us behind :( The funeral is suppose to be later this week, maybe Thursday so we’ll be traveling to meet his family for this sad occasion.

I hope everyone’s afternoon goes well. Xxx
So Sorry for you’re familia’s loss Sass, it’s never easy, even when the person we lose has had such a long and wonderful life, and I’m certain she was very proud of your husband and the family he made with you.

Take care and look after yourselves.

Started a new Minecraft this morning, got a cracking seed right next to a golden chest with golden fireproof armour, I then fell down a crevice and lost it all lol I'm slowly getting further, it had a great cave but no way down, I fell a few times.

Great news for me guys, finally got my mental health appointment next week on the 7th, the lady I spoke too the other day just phoned me to let me know, she chased it up for me. Fingers crossed.
Great news on the appointment T, less so on repeatedly falling into Minecraft crevices.

Sorry to hear your sad news Sassy.

I wish we could make it this year so we could meet your family, maybe if we win the $300 million lottery prize later this week we do it ? But given my new job it seems highly unlikely that it will happen year, but we are aiming for next. While we would love to do a road trip around Europe, we are thinking that realistically we may just go to the UK and Ireland. Although my brother who lives in Belgium would be furious if we are in Europe and don’t visit them.

Way too much on your plate this year!! How come Ireland is on your agenda? Just interest or you have family or friends?

Really sorry to hear! she must have had some crazy stories and seen so much change over her life!

Just had a pest control guy around to deal with a waps nest in Mrs J's potting shed.

Showed him where it was and stood back whilst he squirted some powder into the nest . "That's it , don't go in there for 3 hours "

£50 quid for , I kid you not , 3 minutes on the propoerty and that included walking to and from the car to the potting shed.

And he was the cheapest I could get !

Mate, I just buy a can of Morten stand back a meter and empty the whole can. Works like a charm. We had loads of wasps in our last house.. so plenty of practice and its pretty instant.

Bright and early start for me today. Yawnnnnn. I have a plane to catch.

So it will be intermittent service from me over the next 10 days but will catch up during the down times.

Have a good Tuesday everyone. Weather for the flight looks dreadful.

Enjoy mate!! Where you off to If I can ask?

Scotland for a couple of days to go the horse racing, then Liverpool for a week to catch up with family and friends.

Just decided to walk down a road that I have been meaning to explore for ages, always thought it was a dead end, it is near me and I have walked past so many times. Anyway opened out onto a load of fields and rugby pitches, we eventually came out at an exit I always walk past, Daisy always wants to go that way but I've always said no, I don't know where it leads, well now I do, bonus.
