Sounds like my type of training ?‘Training’ was a couple of shuffles along the beach before doing a bit of a pub crawl then back on the bus. A good laugh though and good for team spirit.

If anything it will be the other way round - who was it in Brookie ? Trevor Jordache ?Hope your not thinking of burying her under the patio![]()
I'd like to go to Glasto but know I'd hate the crowds and the camping. About 5 years ago we did Tropical Rising ( Reggae and World music ) in Cornwall.As I said I quite like her. But I quite like Adele and some of Ed Sheeran too, but I just don;t think their music lends itself to live festival performances. For me it should be up beat and get the crowd rocking/dancing. That's just me like. I'm sure the youngsters there will absolutely love it. Fully intend to watch it though.
Can't stand Adele !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!As I said I quite like her. But I quite like Adele and some of Ed Sheeran too, but I just don;t think their music lends itself to live festival performances. I’m not a garden expert but when I saw the flower and leaves I knew it wasn’t a Clematis but also a rose. But glad Mrs. J came to the rescue and I would agree that you shall stick to digging holes and cutting branches ?? xxx@Armaghtoffee
@kev
@blue1948
I have consulted the expert and Mrs J says it's a dog rose ( didn't show her your reply kev ) !
Just goes to show I know nothing about gardening! I'll stick to digging holes for Mrs J!
Have a great midsummer celebration, Blue. Would you also be drinking beer or other celebratory drink? unlike most people, I know you have learned your lesson and won’t be dying from excessive booze or else ?Good morning all on this Finnish midsummer celebration .Up in the high 20's and not a sign of water means a lot of beer might be drunk today .
There is a sort of lottery in Finland on this day as people guess how many will die from excess booze ,a few usually fall out of their boat and drown .It reminds me of my childhood on Bonfire night .
They say people never learn!
Have a great day all and I hope all feel better than yesterday .
On the old people not being sent to the intensive care ,I agree it is terrible if it is what it seems but I don't know all the facts e.g. Are they given the choice ? A kind of euthanasia situation ,I don't know .COYB.
I have no giving much thought to the question of retirement and household work and it really seems quite unfair that women can’t retire completely from such taskMorning all, cloudy here this morning. Enjoy the celebrations @blue1948 sounds as though the weather will be good for you. Booze and boats not a good combination though. @anjelikaferrett we never stop worrying about our kids, only natural, but from what you have said about Charlotte it sounds as though she may be the ideal candidate for the job. Wishing her all the best.?. Hope you get the washing dry @jazzy - that housework won’t do itself- or so Mr G. tells me, my reply “he retired from employment - I retired from housework “ lol Have a great day, all.

How is the bathroom coming along, T? Have you decided what color you are going to paint it?Hiya guys, hope everyone is well and ready for the weekend. been out round the park this morning so Daisy had a geese poo picnic ffs lol I met a lady yesterday, she stopped and said she loved Beagles and said apart from the food thing haha when they say that, you know they know Beagles lol
Not much happening in Terrarian land, I can't seem to focus on anything so constantly starting stuff and then doing something else, weird behaviour lol
Had a follow up with the mental health, still no sign of an appointment though, however I did stress that I currently am not overly depressed but I still need help, just getting frustrated with the waiting now, it's been almost 12 months, in fact it could well be 12 months.
Have a lovely day and weekend everyone.

Housework is no laughing matter and nor is gardening for that matter! No retirement from that I’m afraid although I would love a gardener having said that.I have no giving much thought to the question of retirement and household work and it really seems quite unfair that women can’t retire completely from such task![]()
It's stalled at the moment until i can afford paint, I'm undecided what colours still, I will look at bathrooms online and see. It seems the light is what is making it look orange more so that might ned to be looked at also.How is the bathroom coming along, T? Have you decided what color you are going to paint it?
Tbh I understand your frustration, even if you are not overly depressed at the moment, which actually seems the right time to deal with your condition before it worsens, 12 months is a lot of time to be waiting. I am always appalled with the US healthcare system, but tbh yours doesn’t seem any better![]()
Yay for baby tomatoes beginning to flourish. My tomato plants are also looking much better than last year. I think the automatic water sprayer that my hubby installed has really made a difference this year. As the plants are getting water every other morning for a whole hour and they seem to be liking it. I’m not sure yet if I’m going to be as happy as them when I receive our water bill (the city of Asheville bills for water every 10 weeks so I have yet to see the damage of our new experiment) lolHello everybody. Hope you are all well. It's another lovely day but we do have rain forecast this afternoon. Son came home last night. Good to see him. He's here until Sunday so we have planned an afternoon in the beer garden of our local pub tomorrow- weather permitting. Its a nice pub, has its own brewery, Sonnet 43, attached to it. So if you ever see the beer while you're out and about, I'm almost its next door neighbour. I did see it being sold in a pub in London when I was down there for a Union meeting.
When are you off to Liverpool Fred? I'm there 8/9 July so I don't think we overlap. Otherwise I would have bought you a pint in The Kingsman!
Been out checking the tomato plants. We have three visible tomatoes. This is a 300% improvement on last year's crop already. lol Unfortunately the melon growing attempt failed. Something ate them.
Anyway. Lunchtime over. Back to work. Catch you later x
It is not, AT. I am borderline OCD so I can’t stand mess so always feel like to have everything nice and neat but that takes effort and time as much as gardening, I must be mad to want to do all these tasks. Tbh that’s one aspect that I miss from Colombia, there a middle class family can very much afford to have a cleaning lady working for them every day. Here in the US one has to be rich to afford such luxury.Housework is no laughing matter and nor is gardening for that matter! No retirement from that I’m afraid although I would love a gardener having said that.
Thought you didn't like reggae. Or is it just Bob Marley, or have I just made that up completely.?I'd like to go to Glasto but know I'd hate the crowds and the camping. About 5 years ago we did Tropical Rising ( Reggae and World music ) in Cornwall.
The camping wasn't to my liking and hated seeing the drug taking. Shame beause the music was good.
She's got a very good voice. But I couldn't go and watch her.Can't stand Adele !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ed's ok
