I think I would use the term experienced rather than wise. A wise man wouldn't get in this predicament in the first place.?There speaks a wise man

So unbearably sad. I've just watched the Golden State Warriors NBA coach giving his press conference and being asked about it. He doesn't hold anything back - says he' sick of the minute's silences when nothing gets done about making people have background checks before they can buy a gun.Oh ffs no, not another shooting of schoolkids, how terrible. Why on earth won't they ban guns it's crazy.
You can take the boy out of Liverpool.........I'm proud of you Fred!! Hope you feel OK this morning - can you pass off any potential hangover ill-effects as seasickness? lolWow. Just got back to my room. Pissed as a fart. Supposed to be meeting for breakfast in 5 hours?
Had the most amazing meal then went back to the hotel bar for a nightcap. Ended up with the head barman, hotel owner and local wine merchant until now. Great guys with lots of stories to tell. Great night Great music and great conversation
Great vid this, I know your all animal lovers so you'll enjoy this
Totally agree, T . The amounts of money are obscene.Just reading about Mbappes contract allegedly £127m signing on fee, £1m per week wages and a say in who the staff are and who they sign.
I just don't know what to say, it is disgusting, I honestly don't think I will be following this sport at the top level if this carries on. The money is ruining the game and ruining clubs, without clubs there is no sport.
This needs reigning in. Billionaires are the worst thing that has happened to the game, the way it is going is unsustainable.
Is there no charitable help for you ,to move the furniture ? I am thinking Salvation army or church . There has to be some hunk around there that wants to show off his muscles .How near are you to where Fred lives ?????.My bathroom floor and new sink are all done and dusted AT, my new boiler and radiators are being installed on the 7th June and my hallway and kitchen flooring is being installed on the 14th June.
After that just need to finish the decorating off and that will just leave my bedroom that doesn't have a floor or decorated.
Not sure when I will be able to afford that though as I will need to use a different company for the floor as the one I am using now, the fitter won't move any furniture and there's no way I can move my bedroom furniture on my own. The wardrobe won't fit out of the door anyway. I had to take it all apart to get it in, it's a big oak thing.
I hope your daugter and her boyfriend don't have an arguement when they do the join between the ceiling and walls . I hope he is paying tax on his incomeGood morning all. Quite breezy here today and not as warm as I anticipated. Been out doing some weeding and just come in for lunch - Aldi soy and chili calamari with salad. If you like fishy stuff can totally recommend the calamari.
Thanks for the input about the dog. I've told her that if it's a nice day and we are outside the dog can come but if it is indoors he can't. A has agreed to that and then said that her daughter might be off work so could have him anyway. @Ducans elbow Nora is really cute. A's dachsund has long hair and is mostly black.
@Terrarian You're not the only one who is having some decorating doing. We're getting our downstairs done. Charlotte (daughter)'s boyfriend is 32, ex forces and currently unemployed. He's been doing a Master's degree in Health and Safety and is also primary carer for his granddad who he lives with since his marriage broke up ( nothing to do with Charlotte, they had split up long before she met him). I asked him if he fancied earning some money by decorating and he was all over it!! He's sent me a list of what we need and he's starting next week. Charlotte is off work next week so she is going to give him a hand.
Just seen some pics of DCL setting off on his holidays - looking lovely in a pale pink checked suit. I really hope he has a good time. Looking back on the season and his comments the other day it must have been soul destroying for him to be injured for so long. He probably has never experienced anything like that and made worse by the fact that he had broken into the England set up and everything was on the up for him.
Off to the gym tonight - haven't been for two weeks due to my extended stay in Liverpool. It will be brutal! Have a fun day everybody x

Fred is other end of the Country lol It's fine blue, I'll use a proper company for the bedroom as my wardrobe won't fit out of the door anyway. Is there no charitable help for you ,to move the furniture ? I am thinking Salvation army or church . There has to be some hunk around there that wants to show off his muscles .How near are you to where Fred lives ?????.
I don't suggest for a moment that it will help but I was told that if you stand about a yard from a tree and then focus on the distance for twenty seconds and back to the tree for twenty seconds and continue like that for 3 minutes it trains the eye muscles .@jazzy @Armaghtoffee . It is a great relief to be able to see properly again but hadn’t realised how much double vision had affected the way I walk, having to adjust to seeing properly again means I’m a bit doddery but then again that could just be my age lol. The prism is only temporary I have to go back in August to see the consultant, find out whether it really comes from childhood attack of measles or another cause and discuss my options which includes an operation.
Was told lots of stories about Oliver Reed. Apparently he lived on the Island for about 20 years and the hotel bar where I've been staying was his local. And as you know he enjoyed his drink. Most of the stories were not repeatable, even if I actually remembered them given I was so pissed. ?Sounds like you are having a wonderful time with some great experiences with interesting and lovely people.
I'm afraid not. Unfortunately yesterday he had a bit of a mishap with the boat, I think he broke a propellor on one of the engines on a rock. We took the outboard on a trip around the island of Herm and found a beautiful beach. Me and the daughter Sam got dropped off ashore and planned to walk across to this beach with the 2 dogs and go for a swim. He planned to take the boat around and pick us up from the beach. But on the way around he hit the rock. Anyway he's having to take it to a repair guy to have it lifted out of the water today to assess the damage. Hopefully it isn't too bad and can be repaired pretty quickly. As it happens they had already decided to travel back to Cornwall with Sam and I tomorrow so it hasn't upset their plans much. The weather today has been very windy so they'd already decided not to take it out. So I've just had the one day out on the boat but it was great fun.You can take the boy out of Liverpool.........I'm proud of you Fred!! Hope you feel OK this morning - can you pass off any potential hangover ill-effects as seasickness? lol
