Morning folks. nice and relaxed are we today, feels great, never want to go through that again, although as I have said, at least it brought some emotion back having something to fight for, just wish it was at the other end.

Enjoy your break Fred. Sassy scotch eggs are minging lol can't stand them but then again depends all on the sausage meat, some sausages are just nasty.

I'm feeling a bit wheezy today, I hope it's nothing CBA having a cold or worse and I can't be cancelling the work lads. Hope you are all enjoying a stress free weekend anyways.
 
Morning all, lovely sunny morning here and a relaxing day ahead. Going to pop round to my neighbours this morning to tidy up her garden a bit. She’s in hospital and have only been checking the house and post so the back garden has become a bit neglected. Virginia Creeper is everywhere so definitely needs cutting before it takes over completely. Have contacted the family but they either can’t or won’t come round. Blanche was such a keen gardener and it would break her heart to see it, in all honesty I don’t think she will return but we’ll do it in case does. Have a great day, all.

Happy match day lovely people. It is glorious we don’t have to worry about today’s result but still think we are going to beat Arsenal lol

Just waking after a long night celebrating love and marriage. Our friend wedding was beautiful and so much fun. There is clearly a strong bond between them and their families and it was joyful seeing them exchange vows and witnessing how happy they were. The location for the wedding was fabulous too. It was at a farm outside the city and the wedding took place inside a barn that’s almost 100 years old and was gorgeously decorated. Here are some pics from the wedding. We cleaned up pretty well ?

Hello friends. We were driving back from Nottingham so missed most of the football stuff. I can't listen to football in the car, I get way too distracted! Caught about the last 20 minutes of the matches when we got home. Oh dear no quadruple - poor lambs, they will be upset.

Had a lovely weekend in Nottingham. Son and his girlfriend showed us the sights. It is a very vibrant city, loads of bars and places to eat. I drank waaaay more than I should have done yesterday afternoon and evening. We went in here, allegedly the oldest pub in England.

Went for a few pints with #1 son and his new, ish, girlfriend earlier. Never met her, but she was an utterly delightful, and funny, young lady. It was clear that she and son had that "thing", and me and her seemed to get on great. Son confirmed as much just now.

Mad thing is, when she went to the loo, we both agreed that she was similar. (in humour and general D'fuq) to my sister, (his Aunt who he adores, as do I), and my darling Nikki.

Aint life weird? Or it repeats itself. Or sommet.
