Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I've packed three pairs of shorts and two pair of swimming shorts. Should be enough for a week. ;)

The concert in Falmouth is not until August and the tickets aren't even on sale yet so I've not mentioned it yet. But when we get back we have the village festivities for the Queens Platinum jubilee. This sort of thing is the reason Cal wanted to join a village community so there are a couple of things I'd like to attend. There is a Royal Family quiz in the local pub on the Tuesday and I know that both Sam and Peter like quizzes. Then on the Saturday there is a live band/disco on at the marquee that is being erected on the village sports field. I could just turn up to both on my own but I've lost a bit of confidence and I'd be more comfortable in company. I'm going to mention them both to Sam on the car journey to Poole tomorrow.
I hope that Sam and Peter are up for the quiz and the band and go with you, always easier to go with someone, but I agree with Sass that you should try to go even if you have to go alone, there‘ll more than likely be someone there you know. Have a great time next week, don’t bother about us we’ll try to behave while you are away. lol

Clare v Waterford tomorrow. We are already in the Munster final with a game to spare.
Can relax and not worry about that result or the Everton one !
Will be a good game that. Our Ladies are in the Ulster final tomorrow and it’s brilliant that we can enjoy that and not give the Arsenal game a second thought.

This stress free weekend thing really is the life.

We have made a lot of changes and left off probably the best player in the country in Tony Kelly. He got 16 points v Limerick last week.
So it's about trying a few out tomorrow

It’s hard for new players to take their chance when so many of them are thrown in together. It’s a squad though and everyone needs game time.
