Well, just got home. Flat atmosphere unfortunately, although I was surrounded by Scousers singing something about the Baby not being Gerrards......anyway, great to see the guys here, I thought that Heart did pretty well for a team playing its first competitive game.

Saha's goal was excellent, pure class, especially as I was behind that goal. Made up for the penalty miss.

Funniest moment was Jutkiewicz (?) continuing to play the ball after it was 3 metres over the line...we must use different chalk to the EPL...:P

Anyway...I'm looking forward to my 4th game...whenever that is! (y)

Just watched the highlights how, hard to gauge any game from highlights but Coleman looked lively, Anichebe seemed to had a lot of positive involvement and Turner made a couple of good saves.

rodders will probably go in my dream team.

Wanted him in my fantasy team as well, but can't compete with Arteta & his set pieces.

Got Saha & Howard at the moment as well - really want Coleman instead of Timmy, just not sure if he'll start league games from the off...

Everton tv lid.

Billy is the lad we've gotta look after, looked alot better in the second half but couldn't do anything right in the first...

I will be just watching him for the remaining matches, to see how he's getting on, too much talent and class to just brush off.

Rodwell and Anichebe were immense, the partnership between big Vic and Seamus was very attractive.

Jags and Distin look really good together.
Hibbo and Neville did well filling in the LB spot.

Beckford and Gueye look very promising, especially the former.

All in all, fitness is staying AND we're winning, rather then losing 4-0 or something to Blackpool like we did last season. Good stuff.

This leads me to question Heitinga's role in the team. He's too good to provide cover, but maybe not good enough for a first choice RB. Now unless we're going with 3 CBs and bringing back the wingback, I fail to see his spot in the lineup. Or is Felli's injury not recovering too well?
