i think under Martinez, without Moyes making him a sideways passerand destroying his hamstrings on the training ground, Rodwell could resurrect his career

I agree, but I'm wary of Everton over-spending on British talent, so would sooner look abroad than bring Rodwell back.

You only have to look at Sandro (£8m) on Sunday to see the benefit of casting the net a bit wider than the north-west of England.
