Great to see Mason growing as a player. He and all the other defenders will benefit greatly from the disipline and orgsnisation that the Allardyce coaching team brings. A team set up and drilled to defend also makes defenders look better ala Keane at Burnley.

Looks the absolute business this lad. He always defended well at full back but had obvious limitations on the ball, none of that at centre half.

This lad really has come on a lot, Keane and the bench are going to become friends by the looks.

Get him a nice ball-playing centre half partner and a left back alongside them and we'll have a quality defence.

Schneiderlin is totally irrelevant Holgate has to stay in the team with another clean sheet.

Looks taller than Schneiderlin now and I think he’s like 6’2”
