Yeah but some do get carried away thinking our players are much better then they actually are at times.

I would like to see him played as a centre back in a 3. Maybe a loan to the championship would do him good but only if he was playing regularly and at centre back. Maybe insert a clause od he's not getting regular game time we can recall in the window to avoid a Galloway situation being repeated.

That is his ideal position I reckon. Not a fullback and not strong enough for a back 4

I'd swap in an instant. Holgate could be really good if he stayed with us, but I don't think he'd develop the same way if he went to City. I still think Stones has all the tools, despite the stick he gets, and working with Koeman would make him a better player.

I think people go over the top in criticising him, by Everton fans because he left and by everyone else because of his fee.

I'd sooner have Stones than Keane or any of our Centre Halves anyway, and it's not even close.

Agreed on the criticism part. Still a young player. I expect him to become a top player still
