If you want Martinez gone you're a bad idiot.

He got us our best points total ever last season and we've pissed the toughest Europa League group there is. Of course we've not been brilliant in the league but there are how many games gone?

A grip. Get one.

I actually heard a fella today say:

"there's just too many individual errors and Martinez is doing nothing about them."

Not sure what you can do about individual errors considering they're from individuals. Aside from maybe buy new ones.

And in those years you mentioned, the general expectation was what?.... I seem to remember people settling for anything around 8th and a cup run. We accepted that given the squad we had.

We expectation now is very different. We have been teased with watching dream football last season, a manager who brought a style of football we havent seen for decades and a squad of players who are more than capable to challenge for the top 4. You would think so looking at it on paper.

This is the same group of players as last season. Are you telling me your expectations in August wasnt for this team to seriously make a run for that top 4 ? What have you seen so far in the 20 odd games we have played this season to suggest we will turn it around ?
My expectations were we'd get 6th or 7th because we'd prioritise the cups, especially the Europa. Still think that position in the league is achievable.

Of course its achievable. Its always will be until its mathematically impossible. What im saying though is that currently we dont look like a team capable of pushing for the top 4.

Probably not, United and Arsenal look like they will complete the top 4 behind Chelsea and City. But there are still a lot of points to play for, as you say never give up hope until it is mathematically impossible.

This has been rather interesting so far.

21 people want him gone? Mad really. 24 aren't sure? I worry for Everton with fans like these.

But what's more worrying is some of the attacks on my OP, as if we're not allowed to question Martinez. Too many posters on here are quick to attack the poster rather than the argument.

Still, 25% aren't fussed about him being our manager, that to me is absolutely mental, have a look at yourselves lads.
