I have said from the start that i back martinez in what he is doing with the youth players and will still back him for the enxt 4 years.

As i have always said he isnt a top manager and if we are struggling then it isnt really a suprise to me that we are going through this rough patch. It is whether Roberto can evolve as manager also and keep us going that will determine whether last season was a one off.

BUT with all that being said, Barkley / Browning / Garbutt / Stones to name a few prove that the youth system he is using works and therefore i will take a couple seasons over the next 5 where we don't do anything in exchange for a youth pushed squad ready for the premier league

Should he be fired: ha ha absolutely not

I do think a few questions need to be asked though. He shouldnt be given a free pass because of the one good season he gave us. Somethings are a little off and I dont think there is anything wrong with asking a few questions.

Especially when we are all watching these performances, average performances with players STILL not fit and badly out of form, yet he appears in interviews and describes something very different to what we have watched.
