If season ticket sales plummet after a large uptake in number for this season, then the board will act.
I know a few who got one this year who will not renew if he stay in charge.
That does not make anyone a bad fan, football is expensive and if change is required, vote with your feet.
The board are incapable of acting mate

It's so obvious this bloke is only here to wind people up, yet he's allowed to do it day in day out and the saddest thing is he snares tons of folks consistently.
Translation:

"He's not allowing us to hang the manager unopposed. How dare he deny us our victim. He should join in and kick the manager while he's on the floor with the rest of us"

Think I was the first to vote Out mate. My mind was made up in after WBA in January. I was prepared to give him this game and QPR if the improvements seen after Kiev 1st leg/Newcastle continued, but the nature of the loss tonight is so bad that the QPR result is now void in my mind.

We could win every game from here on in till the end of the season and I'd want him gone, not because I'm a stubborn beaut, but because those games are all meaningless now.

I hear what you're saying mate, but those games still have meaning as we're nowhere near safe in the league, as much as I hate to say it.

I tell you what. Some people need to hang their heads in shame after this.

Last 16 of the EL, beaten 6-4 on aggregate after a very very respectable European campaign.

Absolutely shameful reaction.

Think it's more of a reaction to being utterly terrible all season.

If we we're dumped out of Europe and sitting comfortably in the top 10 you wouldn't see this reaction

This is just my opinion but I think he's a poor manager who has hindered several key players with his tactics all season. His selections and rotations have been comical to say the least.

I have my theroies as to why it clicked and worked last season but I won't bore everyone with that. Hes severely lacking in most departments. He has turned us defensively into Wigan. That's not a jibe, it's the truth, picked up on also by many a pundit. He's coaching staff must be equally as flawed as himself.

I honestly think if we don't want to lose some key personel, they must see some promise for future success. I don't believe many of them believe in martinez or his philosophy. A proven guy needs bringing in.

This will be the biggest job RM ever has and IF he's let go I think we'll see him fade away into the wilderness.

Oh well season's done now. Roll on next season!!

We hammered 8 past Wolfsburg in the group stages. They were big enough games.

Let's not throw the baby out with the bath water.

Wolfsburg are a different team now compared to before. If we played them tonight it would've been 8+ conceded - we weren't good enough despite having a better team than them.

WUM - is that the same as being consistent in your attitude to a manager and not wanting to see him sacked after a record breaking first season?

Ok, guilty as charged.

Whatever mate

You know it's WUMing and you also know why it is

There's not much more I can say about it really

There's no way an intelligent and dedicated supporter such as yourself would behave in such a way to reasoned criticism of the manager if you weren't looking to get a rise from people

Regardless of whatever merits your argument has, the way in which you've gone about it has eliminated any real desire from anyone to hear it. You've over egged the pudding and now myself and others just can't take you seriously

It's a shame, because you could probably contribute admirably to a proper debate, but to many on here now you'll always be a WUM who spouts his Davekisms to waning interest

There's no way you think that Martinez shouldn't be criticised when it's justified, but that's the argument you're making with your posts
