Wolfsburg are a different team now compared to before. If we played them tonight it would've been 8+ conceded - we weren't good enough despite having a better team than them.
So what are you saying mate, that it hasn't been a great little European run this season, because from my vantage point it most definitely has.

I've voted in after Newcastle because he gave me some hope. I wanted him to be flexible, being able to learn from his mistakes and he showed a promise last week. But he just rub it out all today, again - he showed he's still acting like some stubborn old git who can't admit he's wrong. Back to his old habits = back to losing ways. That is a proof that he hasn't got a plot what to do next. It looks like a guessing game, not a proper management - if it was he would change it all for good.

Pain to say it, but look at Rodgers and how well he coped with that lot. He was on the vergo of sacking, his team look like a clueless idiots but he was able to put it all together, shake everything up and get them back on track - that's what he's paid for. I never rated him, but sadly he's a better manager than Roberto and he proved it this season.

This is just my opinion but I think he's a poor manager who has hindered several key players with his tactics all season. His selections and rotations have been comical to say the least.

I have my theroies as to why it clicked and worked last season but I won't bore everyone with that. Hes severely lacking in most departments. He has turned us defensively into Wigan. That's not a jibe, it's the truth, picked up on also by many a pundit. He's coaching staff must be equally as flawed as himself.

I honestly think if we don't want to lose some key personel, they must see some promise for future success. I don't believe many of them believe in martinez or his philosophy. A proven guy needs bringing in.

This will be the biggest job RM ever has and IF he's let go I think we'll see him fade away into the wilderness.

Oh well season's done now. Roll on next season!!
Too many players have regressed for it not to be a major problem. None of the promising youngsters have broke through fully either.
Garbutt has had a few games, but then gets dropped and is near out of contract.
The whole setup is shambolic.

Whatever mate

You know it's WUMing and you also know why it is

There's not much more I can say about it really

There's no way an intelligent and dedicated supporter such as yourself would behave in such a way to reasoned criticism of the manager if you weren't looking to get a rise from people

Regardless of whatever merits your argument has, the way in which you've gone about it has eliminated any real desire from anyone to hear it. You've over egged the pudding and now myself and others just can't take you seriously

It's a shame, because you could probably contribute admirably to a proper debate, but to many on here now you'll always be a WUM who spouts his Davekisms to waning interest

There's no way you think that Martinez shouldn't be criticised when it's justified, but that's the argument you're making with your posts

Back to the good old 6-0-4 tonight.

'We defend by keeping the ball,' only we don't pick players that are even half-way competent in possession. We pack the midfield with useless crabs that fail to offer anything going forwards or backwards, and hand a free role to the most limited footballer on the books.

Martinez is absolute blagger, and the sooner he's gone the better.

Oh no, that's just lazy saying I don't criticise Martinez - I've been doing it all season, even during this period when his back has been against the wall. What I won't do though is call for his dismissal when he's still early in his career with us...and I for one don't forget season one even if it's been conveniently forgotten by you and others.

So I'm not really arsed whether you think of me as a "WUM" or not.

I'm being completely honest and consistent....can you and others say the same?

Yet you never gave Moyes any credit for years of consistent top 8 finishes, semi finals & Finals and European runs. It wasn't good enough then.
