Phil Jagielka

Roberto burst into the dressing room and grabbed me by the throat. "You daft tyke ****." he screamed. "I said pass it to a teammate, not a Chelsea player. I'll stab you in the neck with a screwdriver if you EVER do that again."

Err, Jags is from Manchester and was brought up in Cheshire mate.
If you think that's a Yorkshire accent then you need to spend more time in Woolshire learning the nuances of accents

If you know yer history and all that (y)

Ha Ha.

I thought he was a tyke because of the Sheff Utd link.

Not my day.

He's just mad cause Dave trounced him in the election.
And no mistake. The davek project took his crown rar off his obese head.

Carlos you mean, The King stay The King.

But anyway, El Fraudo isnt going anywhere over the International Joke off, so might be a good idea to lock this 1 up till we get bummed by Southampton.

The Plotters will make sure we play the correct way until the end of the season.

Serious question.
For those who wanted Martinez out because there was a danger of relegation ( and there was ) have you changed your mind now ?

*retreats to a safe distance

Will be fascinated if this vote was taken now where people would vote. Suspect that given that we've secured safety all but in name we'd see a swing towards yes again.
Next season and the summer transfer window are the proving ground, can we attract quality players to replace aged veterans who can no longer perform and can we retain our best players. Can we get back to the performance levels of last season.
Undoubtedly the season has been a disaster in almost every way from start to finish but it becomes a case of where do we go from here, as we have the opportunity a fresh start brings.
Stick or twist

Good question Woolly, I voted "out" after the Stoke game. I'm made up that we've managed to pick up the results required to climb a safe distance but hand on heart I still don't believe he's the right man for this job. There's just something that's not right for me, well a few small things which in turn make a lot of things. I don't think he will be sacked though I definitely think he's been given a bollocking from up top hence the team scrapping for points instead of his over reliance on the performance and possession being more important. Hoping against hope that we have a much better summer, get rid of a couple, bring 4-5 in and hit the ground running. A poor start and I think he will be gone by end of September

Embarrassing how pro Martinez camp celebrating our survival from the drop and acting as if we won the champions league.

How this man managed to drop the expectations of some of the fans is phenomenal
