Like I said to pick the three obvious examples, smith came here and did very little, oneill went to villa got them into Europe a few times, McCliesh went to Birmingham got them promoted, top half of the prem and only their second ever trophy before getting them relegated again.

It wasnt really a pop at anyone mate, more an observation that Smith won tons up there, was dreadful for us, and it got me thinking. Rangers or Celtic are not going to employ utterly dreadful managers are they, #johnbarnes, but equally, winning loads means diddly squat down here.

there was an Echo article a few weeks back where Roberto mentioned that relegation was indeed a big concern, and that he had raised his concerns about the players performances with them away from the cameras.I had a conversation in one of the threads with davek about it.
