The system has been dissected.

At least we got this beauty of a match before it was finally laid to bed.

Still amazed by that header really, be arsed about those volleys no matter how good they were, that was goal of the tourney

That was seriously the happiest I have ever been as a neutral* watching a game of football. That goddamn header. Watching tiki taka get reamed on the world stage one last time. God, what a game.

*I do not consider myself a neutral when the RS are playing, there's clear rooting interest there c'mon

Sacking Martinez now won't really do much of anything, but I am really concerned that Roberto will stay in over this summer, not do any of the required housecleaning, and that we'll be in a very dire position come next fall.

This squad needs some help at basically every position except left back.

I wouldn't take too much notice of RMs talk about phenomenal performances from players who we all know need punting. He knows he has to get a tune out of them until the end of the season, and he knows his job depends on moving players on and getting decent replacements in.

He can make the tough decisions, I have no doubt about that.

He basically admitted a few weeks back what he tells the players is very different to what we hear.

Oh yeah, the "phenomenal" stuff/postseason interviews doesn't bother me. I've worked in politics before, I know what BS'ing the camera sounds like. I never listen to those because I know they're going to have zero substance anyway.

If politicians actually spoke their minds and said what they want to say, we'd vote them out of office.

If football managers actually spoke their minds and said what they want to say, they'd be sacked. :P
