I get what you're saying mate, just saying that I think part of the reason is due to age in some players cases rather than form

But Barkley, Lukaku, Stones etc are also a bit older and more mature. Garbutt and Browning are ready to step in.

I think form, confidence and mismanagement are the bigger issues though injuries and aging players hasn't helped.

Maybe you missed Manchester United winning abar 15 titles with a team whos bulk of players came from Scotland, Ireland and England.
but england's not what it used to be though is it mate? Look at all the top teams in the prem atm. Driven mostly by foreign talent par Rooney at United. Hazard, Costa, Oscar, etc for Chelsea. City's only contributing UK player is Hart. Alexis Sanchez carried Arsenal through most of the season.

*england still has way more talent than the US so please dont turn this into that kind of argument* The fact is UK is falling behind alot of other Euro nations and South America

There also very young and the mature players who should be leading the way have turned to jello

Milner and lampard are crying about this.

I still think he will prove himself to be a good manager for Everton.
A disastrous night in a very poor season but I am prepared to wait until next season to judge him.

Mate. I didn't want him to begin with. I think that most of his transfer dealings have been poor and panic driven. I think he talks rubbish most times after a game.
But, I want to give him a chance and not die wondering. I don't see any world class, international, experienced Managers coming here so lets give him a chance to grow. I don't want recycled dross British Managers.

Oh it's because there is no one who could possibly replace him.

I see.

once a footballer hits the early to mid 30s believe me, since months is a long time and an injury exacerbates that

I'll agree Distin and Barry; thats about it. Howard has always been touch and go throughout his career, but i'll give you him as well.

What we've witnessed his all these played regardless of there form; including Howard regaining his place after some impressive performances from his understudy, play week in week out. Distin loosing his place first but after some really awful performances, only to ve replaced by Alcaraz, a man who we all know to be an utter shambles of defender

We also struggled for the majority of the season and this was not addressed in the January transfer window.

The football on offer is slow and boring with no width and no heart or fight from the players
