It,s small margins granted but if we can avoid "judgement day" I feel that that we will have turned an end of season corner. This should then give us the momentum to drive us forward into flip flop season and bring us back to Finch Farm refreshed for the new season ahead.

I'm sorry but there's no chance were coming back refreshed and ready to go next season if martinez is in charge. And IF like I expect he was to start next season with the same mind set 1 or 2 early defeats would have us drained of any confidence before the season even starts.

I think it's gone too far with martinez tbh. I don't think there's a realistic way back for him. Maybe with the fans yes if he got a good start, but the players are not with him I don't believe and that's a major problem.

Did Etto get pushed out?? I don't think he did tbh. He thought what the hell is going on here...I'm being no part of this im off!!
 
I unfortunately happened upon this awful documentary a while ago, about boozing in Newcastle, and it had footage of this woman - straight hair, curly teeth, y'know the sort, a BIG MARKET strumpet - anyway, she was having a wee up against a wall, stood up, skirt hoisted and she'd fallen asleep, mid-flow, and it was now just trickling away from her, and did so until she finished, hypnotic almost & genuinely horrible to watch.

And it seemed to take ages for it to stop...

Then she fell over.

I'm trying to find out what it was because it'd be almost perfect for our 2014/15 review DVD. Just that, Z-Cars to open, that, then end.

I must say I am looking forward to the 2015/2016 Bobby sound-bites season for pre and post match interviews. I,m expecting big things from Bobby on this front given that he will come back rested and refreshed after the summer for the new media season.

No obviously were not Wigan, but we're definitely not a Stoke or a West Ham mid table safety team. We're battling with Spurs and Liverpool for European football. Moyes what ever your thoughts about him transformed us from a mid table and frankly bad safety team to a competitive hard to beat team.

We needed someone to build and progress on those foundations and Martinez obviously did that last season. But this season has been a disaster, and history shows that Martinez can't handle trouble we at all.

I'm all for giving managers time, I'd hate us to be like Sunderland making joke appointments all the time, but this guy just hasn't been able to maintain that character and attitude. The team is completely void of confidence and full of naivety which stems from Martinez.

He doesn't have the bottle to drop players and he is so blinkered to his ways he is just dragging us down big time.

Also at Wigan he always seemed to go on a run at the end of the season that kept them up. One season he had the worst goal difference in the league. He was always in relegation battle.

I must be missing something here. I just can't see how he gets a job like Everton. Whelan done a cracking job building him up to something he's not.

The man can't organise a preseason. It took us half a season to get fit, we had injuries to nearly every big player and the only position we addressed in the summer was defensive mid. If he pulls the same next pre season and we buy Cleverly and some rubbish winger on loan I'm not even bothering watching us.

Martinez is safe as houses.

There's no realistic candidate to replace him and he's on a five year contract.

Safety > end of season > Martinez summer transfers > 2015/16 season.

That's the sequence.

Honestly, you're going to do yourselves a mischief. I fear for the sanity of some. It's a poor football season for Everton FC. Hard lines that, but there we have it. We cant have good ones every year. It isn't guaranteed. But no one was killed. We live to fight another day. Let's try to move on with a bit of dignity.

You can't push a player out that has just signed a 2 year deal 6 months later.

Eto'o wanted nothing to do with us. He hadn't signed up for what was on offer at all. Although it was good for us that he left it wasn't a vote of confidence in Martinez at all.
