Don`t see a thread on it, so thought i would start one.

He had the ideal opportunity when asked about Baines and Fellaini to say "they are not for sale" but no, yet another Kenwright puppet, "not received bids blah blah"........... read please come and make a bid:@
Convinced now that if the right offers come in, they are both off:@

If the right offer comes in for any player -Ronaldo, Rooney, Bale, Wilshire -they're all off.

Everton are no different.

New to Everton mate?

Of course if the right bids come in there off, It was like that under Moyes it will be like it under Martinez and anyone else in charge whilst Kenwright is at the top

I think it's common knowledge that if the right offer for us comes in for both/either of Fellaini & Baines then they'll be gone!. But I do think Felli is the more likely to go tbh, as I cant see United bidding what we want for Baines?!.

Did Martinez get asked if he was still in the market for more players does anyone know?.

It's mad the way every single year, like ground hog day people have massive hopes for the transfer window.

When will you learn, sadly.

I know the score, was just hoping the new manager might have tried harder to block any possible transfer, instead of inviting bids on Sky TV.

But if a bid does come in, then he's going to look a little silly if we sell them.

Like it or not, Kenwrong is his Boss, and you don't set out to make your Boss look like a **** after he's just hired you.

I personally want our manager to publicly slate the chairman/owner, loose cannon-style, on a Sky Sports News 'Transfer Centre' tv show. That would be a great idea I reckon, 6 days before the start of the season.:dodgy:

What exactly do you expect him to say?

It's not Martinez making the decisions as to whether or not we accept a bid.

To be honest, it probably isn't even Kenwright's decision either, but that's a whole other story for another thread...

The club isn't in a strong enough financial position to be able to say players are 'not for sale at any price' and be able to follow through this pledge.

Liverpool, Spurs and Man Utd are, because they all have billionaire owners.

so if united offered £60m for fellaini, you would agree that it's right not to sell him. he doesn't want to look like a liar.
