Kenwright is the one who´s interviewed the applicants. Wouldn´t he be better equipped to decide on the suitability of individual candidates than you or me?

I would not expect him to canvass the masses which is what I said, I expect the chairman to have the balls to make a decision and stand by it rather than pass it off as some sort of fans vote.

I can see why people have negative opinions on Kenwright, but **** me.
He might not be handling the club to the best of it's abilites, he may not be giving the club pennies to spend, but he does genuinely love the club and wants it to go far, but I do feel like he's just waiting for something to happen, which isn't a good thing.
I'd like to see change at the top, more investment, etc. But I'd rather not see some foreign business man who's never seen us play take over.
Everton is a club which has kept it's traditions of passion, this day in age we're unlucky to have the budget we have (teams 5-10 places below us are spending twice as much) but we're lucky to have a passionate chairman.
The last thing I want is to chase him down County Road with pitchforks and we get a Venky clone in his place.
