You all know my thoughts on our manager. This is something that isn't down to him though, we seem to be conceding easy goals as of late, just hope we put a stop to it and tighten up a bit.

If you want your RB/LB living in the attacking end and leaving only Disin/Jags back its going to happen. Makes for exciting footie but the trade off is you'll sometimes pay for it. You could shore up the D by taking coleman out and putting in Hibbert but I don't think anyone thinks that will make us better.

I thought ever since the beginning of last season that Moyes assembled a side made for Martinez's system and its why I wanted him all along (not to mention being a decent fellow unlike the Rednapps, and Hughes of the world). He hasn't proven me wrong.

Baines wasn't up the pitch when Hulls winger breezed past him on Saturday, and the marking on Sagbo was none existent. We just switch off too often for my liking, the reason for our, at times, sloppy defending is not all down to playing a more expansive style, although we do put ourselves under needless pressure by insisting on playing it out even when its not the best option at times, Distins shot at Tim Howard being a case in point.

I and a few others on here first predicted that Moyes leaving would be akin to "opening the windows on a musty house and letting the air flow in on a bright spring day", and so it has proved to be the case. Fact is he should have gone years before.

A few quotes from yesterday concerning how United approached a crucial moment in saturdays game against Southampton will sound awfully familar to a lot of people on here

"The familiar fluency, that cavalier attacking flair that became a hallmark under Ferguson has been replaced by a caution, an instinct to not lose where once United would do everything to win"

"Two minutes before the goal came, Moyes had replaced Wayne Rooney with Chris Smalling. At the final whistle, some questioned whether Ferguson would have done the same, would have been as cautious"

Well see how it goes next season if he can't replace the monster that is Lukaku, but so far this season its looking good, he's got Everton on the exactly same points as Moyes did at this time last season, and he's still learning the squad.
He's doing a lot of things that people moaned constantly about Moyes doing, but he's (possibly overly) positive and his passing game is clearly working in an offensive capacity.

Tighten up the defence and there is no reason not to maintain this form for a little while yet. Couple of hard games coming up soon that will test our character, get through those and there can surely be no complaints.

He's very similar to Wenger imo. If the game is there to be won he'll always set up his teams to go for the win,and he believes that good passing football is not just a nice-to-have, but is an absolute pre-requirement to building a team that can win something.

Like Wenger also, he's also obviously an intelligent, well rounded and well spoken man.

Lukaku will off back to Chelsea, no way could we afford him in transfer fee or wages, however might be possible to tempt REmy from the barcodes.

Yeah wasn't suggesting we could get Lukau mate, no chance. Just referring to the guy he gets in to fill in the gap.

Its like my Achilles heel.

I used to just do it cos I was lazy and couldnt be bothered using apostrophes, but now its 2nd nature and it cant be fixed, I know its wrong when I type it, but I simply dont care, check every post ive ever made, you wont find a single apostrophe.
