I'd be more than happy for DBB to take over.
She’d look very good in a pair of ripped jeans that’s for sure.

"The jury is still out" for you?
So you're still unsure of the DoF position even after having seen hundreds of millions spent on players like
Klaassen
Bolasie
Sigurdsson
Pickford
Iwobi
Mina
Kean
Delph
Gbamin
Bernard
Williams
Schneiderlin
Sandro
Onyekuru
Vlasic
Tisun
Walcott
Gomes
...because that's the haul of poor quality over-priced player we've seen brought into the club under it.

He does the major ones.
What would I do?
Manager + head scout takes care of the transfers; employ a CEO with football industry experience and scrap the DoF role.
Pretty much every successful club works with a DoF in some capacity.
Carlo has worked with a DoF through his entire career.
Man Utd are a ****show without one. Spurs are a bit of a mix - they have Levy but a head of recruitment who also acts similarly to a DoF.
There is a balance to be struck.
I don't blame Brands for our defeat yesterday, and we had a very good window this year. Unfortunately we're still short in some key areas though and he has made some dud signings, albeit ones with youth on their side when they joined so it shouldn't cost us too much.
He's had to deal with tighter purse strings because of what came before him but if we're basing him getting a new deal solely on his dealings/work in isolation, I think the jury's out (that's not just basing it on transfers, I mean in regards to how the football side of the club is run etc).
But if the jury is still out on whether someone has done a good job after 2 years in position, then perhaps they haven't done a good job. Football is an industry where you are constantly on trial, having to prove yourself as it is so competitive. I like the DoF model for Everton under Moshiri, but I don't think Brands is the answer.
Maybe so.
But there has to be a lot factored in - and a big part of Brands' job has been to try and, in some way, deal with the tosh that was left from the Koeman, Big Sam and Walsh era.
Those players were some of our highest earners and, given they are crap, have been hard to shift. Besic - a Martinez hangover - is still here, as is Bolasie. Tosun the other one though if not for an injury, he wouldn't be here.
The rest, in one form or the other, have now left the club.
So in that sense his work has been restricted and he hasn't been able to operate with a full budget like Walsh was.
So that's why the jury is out for me.
Better than:
Oumar Niasse
Arouna Kone
Shani Tarashaj
Jindrich Stanek
Leandro Rodriguez
Sam Byrne
Samuel Eto'o
Tom Cleverley
James McCarthy
Muhamed Besic
Aaron Lennon
Brendan Galloway
Bassala Sambou
David Henen
Connor Hunt
We didn’t have any success with any of these Martinez signing either.
Take over the football side of things?I'd be more than happy for DBB to take over.
Whether we're talking about Brands or more the DoF role generally, it doesn't work at Everton. How much more money do you want wasted to arrive at your "jury in" moment?I'm on about Brands
If you take his signings into account, there's some good and some bad. I've been more concerned that he appears to think we can take risks on certain areas of the squad though, and that it quickly comes back to bite us.
I don't know what the next step is. We'll have to see what the club do. But DoF systems can and do work, whether here or abroad. It's about having the right person in.
Walsh was a glorified scout. Brands has had to clear up his mess but has clearly made mistakes of his own, too.
...and how has that been resolved under 4 changes of manager while having the DoF position in place? What happens if said manager gets sacked and we replace him with someone that plays a different way/prefers different player profiles?
